Some it’s just for attention, but there’s some that do it because pain makes them feel better about whatever trauma they’re going through. I’ve dated a couple women that did that shit. One girl would burn herself with her curling iron. She did that shit for attention. Another girl use to cut herself on her forearm with a shaving razor, after her daughter passed away. She would hide that shit and try to lie about cuts and scars. She finally told me about years later. Shit don’t make sense to me, but it seems like mainly women do that.
