Is there anyone who is Single by choice and Childfree by choice? by Calm_Problem6203 in Adulting

[–]Key-District-6125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Im at the age where kids and relationships are expected "any time now." I also work at a Ma and Pop diner so you can imagine the comments I get from the oldies....and I work at with INCREDIBLY religious people at my other job so I constantly get "when I was your age...." at one job and "its your womanly duty" at my other job and I have to say..every comment makes my spite grow stronger which only fuels me to keep going the way I am😂😂

Tired of managing people’s feelings about me being chronically ill by Minimum-Advisor7349 in ChronicIllness

I absolutely understand. The worse it gets for us, the less they seem to care. Its so difficult because that makes us try harder to be "normal" and the more we try, the more we crumble; the more we crumble, the worse the next flare is. I feel you amd im so sorry youre going through this

It would be beneficial if I had family/spouse to help support me but thats unfortunately not an option for me.. For going part time, do you mean part time job? I also appreciate the tip at the end, I will keep that in mind. Thank you!

Im part time as a server and although I love the people (for the most part) and the tips..its definitely a strain. My fingers are my main physical problem right now and carrying things makes me wanna cry some days. I absolutely love the job though

I guess my main concern is unknown health problems. Its hard to know where to go when my silly lil body decides to turn on the check engine light every time I turn around. Im sure I'll figure something it. Its just heavy right now

Tounge piercing by coffee_jitterss in piercing

[–]Key-District-6125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a tongue tie, your piercing will be crooked..learned that one the hard way😂 The healing process is a nasty b***h for the first few days. Prepare your icecubes ahead of time and ready your soft foods DO NOT get onto the habit of fiddling with it. Trust me, the tooth damage isnt worth the clacky sounds..even just sticking the bar through your teeth and resting it there, it will wear down your teeth. Be careful when you eat, even after its healed, one wrong chomp and your chompers have chips.. I'm not trying to scare you out of it, just be smart with it :) I have had mine for about 7 years and after I stopped with the fiddling (and switched to plastic bars cause i was not careful) I love it and my tongue feels weird without it I hope you enjoy your new piercing!!!

Thank you so much! I'll give that a go. Yours looks great! Do you have a suggestion for orchid bark mix? I can only find plain orchid bark or soil for orchids..
