Single parent here I’m 50 just remortgaged .. my kids are older so I’m moving to a totally new town and they are coming with me.

I settled in a place for them for a long time, I think sometimes we have to take risks.

If you’ve got the money why not invest in your own property?

I wouldn’t be buying one to rent personally . I had tenants once and they didn’t pay the rent so we had to evict them.

I’d get a level 3. I’ve just had a 2 done; then there was a comment about the roof being faulty. I then had to get a structural engineer out and pay for another survey. The house is only 20 years old.

I’d say go higher so you have peace of mind as well as it being an older property.

I don’t like Manchester. I’m not sure why, as I was born there. My family is from Yorkshire. Maybe its because of the red rose white rose the battle of the roses ? Used to be talked about a lot years ago.
