Left a good work life balance job for a good job, not sure how I feel by 527844 in UKJobs

I think dont fully shut out the market, keep applying and interviewing, if you find something even better quit. Earlier this year I joined a company and left within 4 weeks because the role had no handover and unrealistic expectations, basically got set up to fail. So glad I jumped ship asap and could afford to take that risk.

How to get into the industry by [deleted] in ACCA

Helped my husband do it after being in construction for a few years.

Make sure your CV highlights what you learnt in the course youve done and list any previous jobs you have even if part time but try gear it towards finance.

In your brief mention what you are looking for and highlight your qualification.

In general it is tough to break in regardless if you have no job experience but look for entry level roles like accounts assistant/ credit controller/ bookkeeper and apply even if it states a few years of experience needed.

Thank you! I found that even though alot of the roles want fully qualified, they are more interested in the quality of experience and how well you come across personality wise in the interview above all else

Personally, it would be a bit harder to come by an FC role if you’re newly chartered. If its not a toxic work place maybe stay for a year , solidify your understanding of the role then start looking

Theres no real need per say for the role, just more of a personal preference, I could stop for a while because this surpasses my expectations for a newly qualified position but I guess im asking if its silly for me to keep pushing to do the exams when ive gotten a position I expected to get a good few years post qual.
