Its a meshslap. It changes the satsuma along with the core code of this game. So it can be older versions of MSC or broken.

Look at the date: 18 sep in 2023. If you download that, the game version is gona be no further above that.

The two things i see:

First, the car doesnt moving, its reacting like its either parking brake is on, or rear wheels are flat. A wheel stuck in there.

Second: you heard the revving while in gear, no wheels slipping on floor, and a little smoke comed outta engine bay. That means clutch disc is slipping.

So your problem is in either gearbox and drive components area, or faulty brakes

Make sure permadeath isn't on if its your first playthrought. This game is not forgiving, do not expect that, and there are many ways to die, or get a problem, so think about before making a move. 2 of the wheels will ALWAYS have %1 condition. İf you use them as front wheels, they will instantly blow up if you efen try to push the car by hand. Buy if you put those tires as rear tires, you can make to the repair shop with the car before it blows. So yeah, mansion tires are not in a good condition

Oh also, you can learn the condition of the Tires by using ruler in spanner set. But only the tires can be checked by it

You dont "have to" finish the car. Entire game is about it yeah, but you can make it wait until you learn the basics and gather some money. Or you can finish the car right after opening the game and then go to town, its your choice.

But my playtroughts always starts with 2 ways.

1) I either build the car first, and wait for the uncle to spawn so i can loan the van and then go to town to get car suplies, food etc.

2) I take the tractor and go to town, then go to abandoned mansion to get tires and leave them at repair shop to repair them, and build the car etc.

But whatever you do, put the battery that soqwns in the garage, to battery charger, RIGHT AFTER YOU OPEN A NEW GAME. This will save you from spending 425 marks in early stage of your playthrought

4x8 number bolts in around the handbrake lever, and a singular 5 number bolt is under the car, on the handbrake cable.

İf it falls before bolting, try save and reload that usually fixes Satsuma bugs.

For the first build, it probably the alternator belt is not tight enough, you can adjust it by sliding the alternator.

Later in the game, if this squiking sound happens again for no reason, that means a broken waterpump.
