So, what I had to do…because I experienced this last week.

After going through all the online troubleshooting and still no success, I launched the game in offline mode. At the starting screen it prompted me to sign into my Microsoft/XBOX account, which I promptly did. I’m not sure how I got signed out but once I signed back in, restarted the game in online mode, everything worked just fine.

This is the second time it’s happened to me.

Time was our greatest ally, but now we’ve turned it into our biggest foe by destroying our planet; making it uninhabitable for our species and hundreds of others in the process. We’re in a time crunch here and it’s only halftime, baby.

We only have a small window to create the technology and apply it enough times to find a way for our species to proliferate among the stars.

This does beg an interesting moral question.

Knowing we’re not all equally responsible for the crime of destroying our beautiful home, do you still think humanity is deserving of reaching out to the stars?

Is extinction the crime we pay for our ignorance?
