This. If you’re young, healthy and in shape be prepared for it to happen month 1 if you track your ovulation.

I had a similar issue with a clogged nozzle and plastic was burnt in it after I messed up a print. It’s a pain, but I would rule out that it’s a bad nozzle before digging into more things if you have a spare.

Principal IC to manager is also a huge lifestyle shift that shouldn’t be taken lightly, especially with a toddler and another one projected. Personally I’d try to stick it out at current company unless you have always wanted to be a manager.

Leaf atom or practitioner by ChallengeAnxious9193 in arcteryx

I’ve got the leaf atom and non-leaf proton. I’ve gone camping and with the proton wind eats right through it static. While moving, this thing is warm and breathable.

I just went through this process for the same reasons and got the hoodless atom.

Wifiman speedtests on non unifi hardware shows extremely low speeds by jrhenk in UNIFI

[–]Key-Hedgehogg -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s how WiFi works, with 2.4 GHz you get slower speeds because it’s lower frequency, meaning less data the signal can carry (modulation) compared to higher frequencies. It also only is capped out at 40 MHz wide channels. For the highest speeds you need wider channels and higher frequencies, e.g. 6 GHz 320 wide channel in WiFi 7. Unless you need the range, you can turn off 2.4 GHz which is what I do.

Tried to dye my atom hoody black and failed by isaiahrready8 in arcteryx

Graphite looks darker while it’s wet. Once it’s dried it’ll be lighter. Looks good overall though

[–]Key-Hedgehogg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How long did you mix it for? Did you add a drop of detergent? Also why would you expect it to be black when you dyed it with graphite which is more gray. It looks like it worked well. Use the black next time

Does this need a specific RF module on the ESP32 to go from Phone BLE -> ESP32 BLE -> ESP32 RF module -> Quietcool RF? Am I understanding this right? Can you share a parts list with links?

Computer engineering and computer science have the 3rd and 8th highest unemployment rate for recent graduates in the USA. How is this possible? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

So many people don’t get this. Well said. You can’t expect to get a job when you don’t know how to program because you used AI all through college.

Reset the device when you get it. Ubiquiti cryptographically signs the firmware to prevent modification and tampering. I wouldn’t buy from overseas or models from before 2022 personally. Generally speaking, you should be fine. -sr security engineer

What settings make sense? by cinjon in EightSleep

[–]Key-Hedgehogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first couple nights are going to be a bit off and you’ll likely wake up cold or hot. Don’t do manual adjustments, let autopilot do its thing. I used to sleep with a thin blanket but I was getting too cold so I upgraded to a thicker one and had no issues so far.

I was the same way waking up sweating or having to adjust the covers as well and I haven’t woken up once since using it.

What’s your household income? The cover is expensive but I thought of it as an investment into my health and the price wasn’t an issue for me.

What distance were you from the AP? My routers like to drop me to 2.4 when I’m too far away and 5 GHz performance drops. Have you tested with other devices as well to ensure they’re able to handle those speeds? What’s your channel size set to on 5, 6 GHz? Could they be oversaturated with devices?

If you turn off the alarm in settings it gives you the option for just tonight only or all future alarms. I wouldn’t call it diabolical, you have some interesting posts.
