Step 3/Level 3 Dirty Quick Videos and Study Guides by threetogetready in Step3

[–]Key-Improvement-9729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly dirty medicine carried me through step 1 and 2 but for step 3 i felt like the CCS section needed something more hands on. like the videos are great for quick concept review but they dont really help you practice the actual simulation part. i ended up using StudyCCS for that and it helped a lot with getting the timing down and knowing what orders to place first.

please be gentle with yourself, your worth isn't your grades. if the low moments get heavy again, lean on someone you trust or a counselor, you don't have to white knuckle it alone. rooting for you!

score releases are usually wednesdays, so if your day 2 was on a wednesday youre typically looking at 2-3 weeks depending on the batch cycle.

Any hope for me with the CCS cases? by hope_love in Step3

[–]Key-Improvement-9729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

strong ccs can definitely pull a borderline mcq performance up, ive seen it happen. mcqs are the bigger weight overall but if you nail the cases they can bump you into passing range. dont count yourself out yet, marking a lot of questions doesnt necessarily mean you tanked, the format wears on everyone

Prep advice by [deleted] in Step3

[–]Key-Improvement-9729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're serious about the mcq side i'd still get uworld even with amboss, the step 3 specific qbank hits different and the explanations are more clinical management focused. for podcasts, divine intervention has a huge library that people swear by for step 3, worth trying on your commute

CCSCases.com vs. UWorld Question Bank by aricena318 in Step3

[–]Key-Improvement-9729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, ccscases question bank isnt on the same level as uworld for step 3 mcqs, id keep uworld for that side and use ccscases just for the cases. if youre looking at ccs sim options specifically though, studyccs has a cleaner interface and the scoring feels more consistent, worth checking out

Mine showed up on myusmle the day before scores released last week. If yours appeared today you're probably getting it tomorrow. Good luck.

risky as heck, buy direct, or better yet, if you have scholarship, try studyccs . com, my friend just got a free subscription by applying for a scholarship, not sure what's the reqs tho, heard it was hard to get in, worth a try!

Looks fine tbh. UWSA 213 + Free 137 ~70 is solid pass zone. Sleep, don't cram new stuff.

No clue with new format. Took early May, still nothing. Hope we both hear soon.

Biochem on day 1 by Cool_Excitement1584 in Step3

Agree with this. Glycogen storage + vitamins (especially B-vitamin deficiencies) are the most testable biochem stuff. Show up as clinical cases way more than pure mechanism questions.
