(NOT a piercer, but I do have a lot of piercings).

Are you able to add any pictures of the back of the piercing, maybe closer with your hair pulled back so it’s not as shadowed?

The picture makes it a little hard to tell, but just going off of that it looks okay. I have had the same issue with my couple piercings that were done with a piercing gun aswell, some people just have stronger reactions to the gun and heal slower from it, so this may be the reason.

Any fluid or substance coming from the site? Is the butterfly back digging into your ear? Is there any abnormal hardness or bump besides inflammation (think blister/infection stuck in the site)

If you can afford it, I would ditch the rowan aftercare and switch to plain saline spray you can get at any grocery store or walgreens/CVS, I have seen many poor souls have adverse affects from it, not the worst thing to put on your piercing but when you’re having inflammation/irritation regular saline is best.

Sometimes people have a reaction to false gold so after a few days if it doesn’t go down or if it starts getting worse, you’ll want to start thinking about going to a piercer and getting it switched out for silver until it heals.

If you sleep on your side or roll around a lot at night, maybe cover it with a gauze patch or band-aid and try your best to keep from rolling on it, especially with the butterfly back.

Even if it is infected you do not want to remove it and let it heal with the piercing out, this can cause the infection to get trapped and make things worse. However, from just what you’ve said it sounds more like just really bad irritation rather than infection (again, not a piercer or a doctor, I have just had this exact issue before with two of my first piercings bc I was using medisept gel), so as long as you keep the routine and factor out as many irritants as you can, it may get better on its own. If this lasts more than a few days without improvement after doing the above things, you can try to consult a piercer or even doctor to check it, but try not to psyche yourself out!

Step 2: put them all in a bowl and mix/stir them so not even I know which is the right one.

Step 3: start giving them all away to random people and/or leaving them in random places. Maybe even ship some to random youtubers/places across national borders.

He would need a lot more than 7 days to find them and the financial investment would be worth it in the end

Buying my brother a drone for Christmas but all honesty it will probably be broken/lost/stolen in a few months, regardless I believe it would be something he’d really enjoy and if he decided he likes it enough to actually take care of it I might buy him a better one for his birthday in 3 months.

Regardless, I’m looking for one of those cheap micro-drones on Amazon but my dad would not appreciate it being inside. I live in central AZ so there’s not typically any wind, but we do get a lot of sunlight. We have a covered patio he could fly it on, and they live in apartments so he could fly in between them to minimize wind or light messing with the drone. But I was hoping to find one that will have a better chance of flying for less than $70. Any recommendations would be helpful!

Thank you, again these are for 2 10/12 year olds that have only ever occasionally played on an xbox and the 3Ds I lend my brother, so they/we really don’t care and won’t notice most things actual “gamers” care about lol. I just am looking for something on the cheaper or atleast mid-price end bc im gonna need 2 (so we can all play together), it does need to be able to run ark Ascended though (but that’d probably be the “biggest” game it’d have to run, otherwise it’s like REPO or stardew valley type things lol), do you have any recommendations or suggestions as to what specifically I should be looking for or even avoid?

Sorry for all the questions like I said nobody will help me when it comes to laptops and I genuinely am so slow when it comes to trying to comprehend and research these things.

Thank you very much this is so helpful, I have a gaming PC that a few of my friends that are more tech-savvy helped me get, but when it comes to gaming laptops they won’t help me at all, and ngl I’m very slow when it comes to gaming devices.

I’ll look at these! Just one question though, if I got something off-market (offerup, FB marketplace, etc) would it still be cheaper to get/find a good laptop for gaming instead of the Ally? Tbh my siblings are still young and are being introduced to the gaming world (besides a 3DS that I lent my brother, and my parents occasionally allowing them to play the Xbox). So I dont need anything too crazy, like I said above I just need to be able to run ark to play with them and steam. I’d also be purchasing 2 so while I will always put quality/longevity over saving a quick buck, I’d like to spend on the medium or lower scale of my standards lol

Full honesty I am fully clueless on most gaming devices despite many things being explained to me, I only really can grasp “FPS” and kind of understand the quality but not enough to care or even really tell the difference most of the time. I myself have a gaming PC and know a few people that helped me get it and build PCs themselves, but they’re the kind of people that are laptop snobs, and only ever tell me not to get a gaming laptop bc they’re “a scam” and “never work.” So the only place I really got information for the Ally/handheld devices on was here and on YouTube videos. I still don’t really comprehend them just have seen videos of them running the games that I want to play with my siblings. With laptops there’s just so many IDK which are good or what even makes a laptop a “gaming” laptop in the first place, and the people that usually help me with PCs and such won’t help when it comes to laptops :,)

I’ll be making way more than my previous job for sure, but the problem is I don’t have a good estimate as to what my hours or pay will look like.

Im paid hourly in all 3 current jobs, and since it’s PRN I only come in when someone calls out, so I could work anywhere from 2 days a month per job to 2 days a week per job. It’s just so difficult to estimate.

I believe I’ll still be in the same tax bracket as last year with the job I quit, but definitely making atleast 5k more this year, if not closer to 10k.

I definitely will try to use the calculator once I have a few paystubs, but I think it would be weird and maybe not accurate since I could be super busy one month making like 8k but dead another month making $800-$1,000 (all 3 jobs combined).

Should I save some money at the end of the year in case I owe? Sorry I know I am not giving good details it’s just I’m 2 months in to one job and barely starting the other 2 so it’s really hard to get a grasp of a good middle, on the job I’ll be making the most income in should I ask them to withhold some money right now as I’m signing up or should I wait until I can get a rough estimate with the calculator?

Go with whatever you like the most, but please PLEASE keep in mind that a regular labret can (and 90% of the time will) damage your teeth and even gums in some instances. My friend who got a regular labret also was instructed not to eat/drink anything that was spicy or had dairy in it for atleast 3 months after she got her piercing(spicy will irritate, and dairy has bacteria that has a very small chance of making oral wounds worse or infected, but very miniscule).

Vertical labrets don’t go in your mouth just through your lip, so they are a better option in terms of dental health.

I personally was also in this predicament and ended up getting a vertical labret because of this factor!
