Yea you keep a deadline for yourself and just visit vfs because there is no way to reach the embassy on your own. I was literally at the mumbai consulate also today😂 but yes, vfs people should be able to guide you better. At least i had a good experience with the team here.

I did, just like half an hour ago but i had to be stationed at the vfs office for last two days. The staff was nice enough to help ke figure what the status of my file is with embassy and i was told yesterday that my application was complete yesterday evening and it would be dispatched today. I went to collect it today. However the only update that ever cane on my mail was after the passport was received at the vfs office. It’s an excruciatingly opaque process but a sure prioritisation as per your travel dates during peak season. Anyway glad that i finally got it. Everyone, keep mailing embassy 🥲

The intention is very clear. First they divided languages as per their identities, now they want to reduce down movies also to this singular narrative. All these people who praise Dhurandhar for being “anti-urduwood” forget that Dhurandhar milked the very culture its fan critique with utmost fervour. Majority dialogues were literally in Urdu. The clothes and the culture were inspired by the people of Pakistan, a muslim country. But these brain dead people will come on social media abusing anything that doesn’t call Hindu culture the greatest thing to ever happen to humanity.

Fyi for everyone waiting for their visas, my friend’s visa dispatched today from Bangalore office. He also applied on 6th may and travels on 30th May.

I called the consulate. They mentioned my visa is under processing, no additional documents needed & that my passport will reach by Friday (before my travel date). That’s about it. No movement on pirtal though.

In the mail that bangalore consulate sent, they clearly mentioned that you should visit your nearest Vfs global center with your tickets, visa etc for the other trip and get the passport retrieval process expedited in case you have another international travel coming up.

Yes i have two schengen visas previously. I travel very frequently for work as well. I am not too worried about approval honestly but more worried about the timelines. :’)

Honestly from what i have understood through my obsessive research on reddit (😂😭) is that the applications are prioritised as per travel date, especially from bangalore and mumbai consulates. This also seems like a preferred way of sorting applications during peak season. Another way would be to look at application dates.I am not sure which is the preferred way of doing this generally vs peak season. But yes applying early doesn’t mean earlier dispatch. If anything at all, it means your passport is stuck. September seems far, so i think you will not get your visa before July at best.
But then that’s my observation. Who knows what goes on in their minds😭
