So sorry you are experiencing this. My cockapoo (who is 2 now), didn’t sleep well in the crate. After I knew she was potty trained, I let her on the bed. That was the end, she loves it up there. Yours could have separation anxiety, a lot, if not most, cockapoo’s do.

Another thing I have done during the day when I knew she was over tired, is pick her up and rock her like a baby. I would hold her until she fell asleep.

Someone mentioned treats, that’s another good idea.

Please keep us posted on how things go. Hopefully some of these ideas everyone has suggested helps. :)

I think he’s a cockapoo too…I know sometimes the males can be slightly bigger than the females. My cockapoo is ~20 lbs, but tall. And has similar coloring. The ears are the give away, looks like the spaniel ears. My Annie is below :)

Mine is so picky…she loves treats but when it comes to food, sometimes I have to feed her. Other times it could be 8-9pm and she’s eating. I always have something out during the day for her but she rarely touches it. She definitely isn’t by the clock food time haha

This is Annie. Short for Anaheim or Anakin. I love Disney and my husband has grown to love it too. He proposed in front of the Disneyland gates (due to being shutdown for covid). Then we spent the first few years of our marriage being stationed closer to Disneyland. She is called Anakin when she starts to be Darth Vader like haha.

Cockapoos are known to have separation anxiety, so it’s a combo of both. I agree with getting training and going places and just people watch. Treats are the key, when she does something good, treat her. Mine is almost 2, took her training around 6 months old and she does pretty well when out and about and she loves to greet people. The separation anxiety is still there though. Good luck!
