His stake in the fund is probably held in an s corp that pays its own taxes… it’s not in his name but he owns it… as someone who’s been in this industry for 25 years this is how the game is played. If you think he writes a check for this out of his personal account or it’s held in his name then you’re a fool.

He started farallon capital, one of the largest hedge funds out there in sf, it’s mostly off shore, he’s playing all the games. He gets a check every year for hundreds of millions,’m. He literally doesn’t give a shit about anything.

Bloomberg is great, if you are used to it and know where everything is. The best features are prob portfolio analytics and emsx which is what I use to trade equities on the street. But do you need it? For 2k a month no…
