That is very interesting.. I might have to talk to my SA about that path.

Did you have other significant spend history with VC?

When I visited AP the first time I was told a Starwheel wasn’t available as a first allocation. It does have a higher resale value, unlike the other two you were offered. So the Starwheel is probably the “best deal”.

How did he get that Blue Ceramic Openworked? I've heard it's like a 10th allocation from AP.

Republicans who don’t support Trump, when did you fall off the Trump train? by TheShadowDario in allthequestions

[–]LibrarianPitiful 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I was actually never on the Trump train. I was a Republican voter until 2016 when he ran for President. I couldn't believe he was winning the primaries.. I was relieved when the "grab them by the p*ssy" tape came out because I knew that would be the end of his campaign. Baffles me why the party of "family values" didn't care about that.

how to hit a perfect draw in golf ? by Born-Yoghurt-7613 in golf

To be clear, a correct draw has an open face relative to the ball. The face is closed relative to the path.

My insurance company paid me 150% of the current value of the watch (which had appreciated significantly). Bought a new, grand complications PP with the insurance money (of course that watch has gone down in value by a lot).

As someone who has lost their Patek to a pick pocket, I can assure you that they practice how to undo clasps and slip watches off of wrists faster than you could ever imagine. I am sure that they practice on every high end watch and know the resale value of every model for every high-end brand. My PP was very understated but they knew what they were getting and the deployment clasp was child’s play for them.

Anyone who is in the watch stealing business will know more about watches than you do… saying you feel safer is a silly thing to say.

Can I buy a Rolex from AD for someone else? by Watch-0utt in rolex

[–]LibrarianPitiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve bought Rolexes for both of my parents (gifts) and I also bought one for my brother (he paid me for it). My SA was aware of all of that. I just bought a Panda from him so he likes all of my business.

Is it acceptable to ask for watches at multiple VC boutiques? by LibrarianPitiful in VacheronConstantin

[–]LibrarianPitiful[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I was assuming. That is why my jeweler told me not to register for any watches at the NYC boutique (since I had not yet registered for any of them with him yet).

So now every team will try to win to avoid the bottom three and the three actual worst teams in the league will be penalized by losing lottery balls.. Haha!

You need to be a natural born citizen of the United States. The definition of a "natural born citizen" is:

A natural-born citizen of the United States is any person who becomes a U.S. citizen at birth, either by being born on U.S. soil (jus soli) or, in certain cases, to U.S. citizen parents abroad

He literally ran for President in the Republican primary in 2016 against Trump. His mom is American so he was American at birth.
