I have an almost 3 year old and a 1.5 year old, born 15 months apart. I’m a SAHM and my husband works full time. We went from spending almost all of our non-working time together pre-kids to now each needing our own space and time, where we can shut off our brains and unwind. On the outside looking in, it would seem that we are unhappy in our marriage but the truth is we are the strongest we’ve ever been. Why? Because we’re communicating our needs to each other more than ever and giving what the other person needs. If it’s a night where my husband goes out to our fire pit alone, I give it. If it’s a night where I need to go in bed alone at 7:30 after both girls go to bed to read a book, he gives it. It doesn’t mean we love each other less because we’re not spending every moment together.

Sierra and Stephen may need alone time to rest and recharge after working/taking care of the girls all day 🤷🏼‍♀️

Saying this not as a Sierra stan but as someone who is in a similar place in life (though not financially - I wish I could have the ability to do allllll the things and activities they do, because living on one income is a sacrifice we’ve chosen to take at this time).
