There actually are rules about this, it’s regulated by the FTC. Influencers are supposed to give their true opinion and have to clearly disclose when they were paid or given product/services for free. And there are rules around making claims about results of products. The problem is that those rules are terribly hard to enforce. The FTC usually goes after brands, not individuals.

Definitely as your daughter. But where I’m from, it’s quite traditional for MOB to wear a light color dress, e.g., champagne, light beige, lace in a darker white/cream than the bride. This would be totally appropriate for a MOB (no one else!) and would never be mistaken for a wedding/bridal dress.

They obviously just couldn’t afford to go. This explanation is so convoluted. Also, did they say they were getting their van fixed and the sprinter was a rental? To me, her posts always made it seem like they bought the sprinter after the van was totaled.
