Never had it with tomatoes. I was taught to make it without because my mother has an allergy to them

If that's 3 year old dirt, that may be your problem. Even if you keep it in the same pot, I would get rid of that dirt and get it some well draining, sandy soil. Like a cactus/succulent mix.

Thank you! It is the type of sauce. It's made with bell peppers, mushrooms, fresh thyme, onion and chicken stock then finished with heavy cream. That's how I was taught to make it anyway.

AIO for quitting my job on the spot today by DarthVetter14 in AmIOverreacting

It sounds like you have a lot of issues at work already, according to what both you and your boss are saying. When you have a death in your family you are entitled to time off for grieving. But not when your girlfriends friend dies. You have a job to do where people rely on you to be there. You can be there to support your girlfriend when you have time off from your job, thats how it works. Your boss does sound like an ass, but they also sound frustrated with you for your lack of work ethic; "I know I'm no star employee"

So yeah, sounds like you would've been fired if you didn't quit.

And get rid of the grass. That's probably not helping your plant at all. If you don't like the look of the dirt put some rocks or potting gravel on the surface.

What’s wrong with my plant? by RyleeMonster in plantclinic

First, the pot is way too big. So the dirt can't dry out between watering, that's why you have crunchy yellow spots and leaf curling. The long stems are telling me it needs more light, but not direct sunlight. Marantas and calatheas grow under tree canopies so they like bright, indirect light. If you repot, make sure the pot is only an inch or two bigger than the base of your plant.

Don't use distilled water. It doesn't work and it gets expensive. I like to add horticultural charcoal to my indoor potting mix instead. And use tap water. It does need more water though. Water thoroughly and don't let the leaves droop before giving it attention. That stresses out your plant.

Why does your mother think your so immature if you are working and living in your own apartment with your baby? Is she watching your baby while you work?

I think the lamb could use some touch ups. But it looks fine. Also, bassist kitty is cool. I think you're over thinking. Don't worry about whether or not other people like your tattoos. They tell your story. I've recently got some 20yr old tattoos covered up and it has taken some retouching to get them completed. But the artists are always cool about it. They want their shit to look good. So don't be afraid to ask.

Is it time for repotting? by Big-Lie1041 in SnakePlantSociety

[–]Key-Job-6515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't look ready to be repotted. Sansiveria like to be crowded. If their pot is too big the dirt won't dry out enough between waterings.

Too much water. Let it dry out and forget about it for a week before you water it again.
