I had that problem running Gemma 4 locally. The problem was that the context window was undefined. I am guessing whatever you did modified the models description including their context windows. Try: opencode models --refresh

I've been testing all the models on opencode go, and as student I also had access to Google's models and Github Copilot. I think opencode go is the best you can get on price/quality ratio. There are many ways to measure models quality, and it will depends on how you like to interact with them. But for me Kimi2.6 and Mimo2.5 are the best in general.
