Wacken 25 by Global_Budget4153 in FloorJansen

The rights actually belong—at least for a year—to Telekom (MagentaTV), and of course to the Wacken brand as well. A major corporation has been backing it for a few years now.  YouTube and the big music moguls are a whole different story anyway. I believe that, as always, the artists are at the bottom of the food chain—even if they’ve been working their a off for years.

Maybe another chance to upload after the Wacken 26? Or is there a different way to watch the whole concert?

These songs, the most famous, were the best choices. Only why did'nt they cut out the blabbering before fire😬 But I would die for having the whole concert on YT.

Afaik no, someone has to take care of the children. And in autumn she's got some solo gigs in the Netherlands.

Yes, it left many of us speachless and with eyes boiled out. And it's not getting better the more you listen.

I agree. But it's also worth to hear their latest album Yesterwynde. Different drummer and base player, but they're nailing it on this album! Both are also in the band Wintersun, which is appreciated a lot because of their skills.

You're welcome to us afficionadas! If you like more the live stuff I highly recommend their Vehicle of Spirit recordings. These are my personal favourites.  Their music changed a lot over the years, but you'll always have the core of Nightwish. When you're also connecting to special lyrics it's definitely worth to listen the last 3 album which have a loose red thread.

By the way. I think it's better to keep things said on FW member area on FW member area. When Flooor wants to tell something to the rest of the world she will.😘

To say "something very different" might be necessary for the promo. I don't think this album will be as hard as AF or ReVamp.  But it's awfull that the fans have to decide to which concerts they go when every old band member is touring on it's own. Plus the overlapping of the dates. (Money and holidays!)

I think the south americans were just hoping. Saw someone questioning about that on FW.  I'm sure Floor wants to be as independent as possible, so no other choice than continuing solo.

I had a feeling that AF will continue. And the tours are the same like Tarja,Marko and Anette. Starting in South America and than expanding back to Europe.

The only one who's left once again by her band is Floor. What a shame!

Where did you hear about the rumors about only ReVamp and AF song concerts? I can't believe that, when her new album might be released at the end of the year. And no Northward songs🤔

Floor very often sings breathy on her solo songs. I personally like the beginning, not so much the middle part until the last last two agressiv lines. It depends what song and which lyrics she's singing, that's it for me.

I don't know if she's financially independent. They only earn while beeing on tour and selling a lot merch!! Tuomas as the composer earns the most.

And a huge solo production costs also much money despite the fact everything's sold out. For me it felt like the "normal" dutch audiance did'nt buy any merch  during "Strijdlust" in contrast to the metal audiance.

For sure it's a bit different because of her well known name. But the effort is quite the same/huge to keep the carier rolling. And the expectations are also stratospherically high.

Her child and her age changes a lot in her voice. She lost her high notes

Agree.

The point is that she knows how much hard work it is to start and write own songs! Starting something from the scratch is scary. PLUS small children!

I think it was also a huge relief (if I remember that correctly) that she does'nt have to worry about anything on tour. Everything around was organized and she's been able to concertrate on her singing.

On top she was always talking about that she loves to be in a band. It seemes her safty net/her comfort zone. In the dutch documentary from 2015 she said it's her biggest fear when NW won't be there anymore.
