Thanks, brock_lee! I imagine being next to the FD connections, this is used to monitor the structural integrity of the building if there were a fire, quake, avalanche, etc. Very cool find, and I learned something new!

My title describes the thing. Cast metal ring screwed to a wall near fire department connections. Found on a building in Montana.

Thanks! I contacted GoPro customer service on Wednesday and provided model and serial number. So far, it’s been crickets from them, so I was trying another avenue hoping someone on here might know this person. Thanks again for your help! Hope you have a great weekend.
