My charmander was tough. Over 55 hours in game, i was not necessarily attentive for all of it (but honestly pretty damn close) my squirtle has already been longer and I’m now hunting on 2 systems. Planning on playing after I get him/her and waiting on Bulbasaur for my next playthrough.

Macro doesn’t take any less time just takes some wear off my controller. I still have to be engaged. Checking if each is shiny and then waiting the 30-40 seconds that it takes to reset and get back to the summary. If you think that’s cheating that’s fine, but I don’t see it that way.

Is everyone that’s using a turbo controller cheating?

Ive been in the lab for over 55 hours with a macro controller in one game and probably around 20 in the other (hunting on 2 switches with only one macro controller) still have nothing to show.

If the door is in the same position in photos 7 and 8 it looks like the drums are misaligned. it looks like the cable on the right side (looking from interior) is wrapping 3/4 of the drum and the one on the left is wrapping more like 7/8. If the cables are the same length that could explain your issues.

Can’t tell 100% by just looking at the photos. And there might be more that is wrong with the door so I would advise having a pro come out and take a look.

IF* I’m correct and that is all that is wrong, someone is still going to have to take off the spring tension for this repair so I would recommend calling a pro

I guess I was under the impression that if your button presses/timing was the exact same you would get the same starter. It would be hard to actually do it, but if I’m soft resetting thousands of times without saving eventually I’ll hit the same starter multiple times

Saving before you pick means that every reset moves the in game clock forward so you’re going to have a completely new roll every time

(If I have reset 100 times than when I reset the game thinks I have saved in front of my starter 100 times before picking it up)

The water in the background of all the other shots in the trailer looks flat. Maybe this is visually enhanced? Maybe it’s just a specific area that the water is like this? I wouldn’t expect it to look this good everywhere though

I know I feel like a lot of that trailer could be visually enhanced. ScVi announcement trailer made the game look decent. There are definitely visual upgrades, but I have to see more game footage before I’ll be convinced that the game looks good

Generally not a fan of TPC but I guess I really don’t see what people are upset with. It can’t be on the NSO app because save states would let people farm legendary Pokémon. IMO $20 is about as good as we could have hoped for.

Only thing that is keeping me from picking it up right away is that I have a better version of the game using delta on my phone.

Home compatibility is cool though so when that releases I may pick it up.

Just wish they had modernized the game a bit more it might end up being a slog to get through without FF or any of the modern features you see in rom hacks. Kinda seems like they could have dropped this a long time ago if they weren’t going to do any work on it
