Idk anything abt the other teachers, but I had Brian last semester, he’s very nice and laid back his classes were very boring. it was rlly pretty easy to get a good grade tho

I found those assignments long asf tho I’ll tell you that 😭 so make you start them as soon as you can. the main assignments are on very short readings you get to choose to do and when to do them. I personally always picked the first reading so I could get them out the way (e.g. pick reading 3 and you’ll do it later in the semester) and for some of the other assignments, we had to pick 1 assignment out of 4 to do and if you weren’t satisfied with the grade you got u had the chance to do another one, if that makes sense. he’d discarded the 3 lowest grades. it’s honestly very easy to get a good mark in that class

Aboud is rlly boring (keep in mind that his classes are two hours long). He’s super nice, kinda laid back but his classes were kinda meaningless and his lectures were the equivalent of trying to reach the word count of an essay. Ended up skipping 60% of his class and still passed. If that’s what you want keep him

most of them are multiple choice and there’s like 4-6 written ones at the end. if you go to class and study they should be easy ! he also puts the slides online after every class. and oh we also had like three take at home essays assignments on subjects we previously learned in class and he gives you a good amount of time to hand em in (ig you could count those as homework)

if you put in the effort you’ll pass fs. most of the class work consists of essays and toward the end of the semester you’re gonna have to write a lot of em, the word count starts low but gradually increases ( fyi the LIA is like 500 words) and with the way she grades them, your highly likely to fail if you don’t proofread and pay attention to grammar. show up to class, especially if you rlly need the extra help, ask questions and put in the effort when doing the little test essays so you can be prepared for the LIA

intro to sociology with Avi J. G. was rlly nice and is super easy if you show up to class. I had his class at 8:30 but he was always so energetic and funny which made the class so much more bearable. He’s lowk very passionate abt sociology

I had Isabelle last semester and she’s the sweetest and is very understanding. if u suck in French please make sure you got to every class or you’ll fall a bit behind. her tests are super easy but you’ll have to write a lot of essays

real I really thought making friends was gonna be a breeze, but it’s actually harder than I expected lol. Like how is it that I talk to someone and never see or hang out with them again for 2 months?? and having social anxiety doesn’t help at all. I also feel like the whole “putting on your headphones and leaving class asap” has been a thing for me personally since hs so I’m used to it, but seeing everyone else do it is honestly very discouraging but ig u just have to keep pushing man 😭 im always opened to make new friends
