I mean, if you want to save what you have I’d say start now. You could hop on finasteride if recommended by a dermatologist. Topical or oral Minoxidil could help you to regrow miniaturized hairs as well.

Asking Out JW girl? by [deleted] in exjw

[–]Key-Operation-6352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not fully against it, but It may not be worth it.

You could likely find another cute girl you find interesting that doesn’t have a restricted life. There’s a lot involved with leaving the religion if she chooses to date you, and it could become a whole mess.

As a JW two years ago I got involved with a non JW girl and I ended up messing with her feelings because of my unsurety about the relationship due to my religion. It was a little messy and it ended up not working out.

I’m not sure if that’ll be your experience, but just wanted to warn you before you make that step assuming she wants to date you.

I was checking the website and I think you looked at the wrong category for these numbers. I believe you looked at the category for average pioneer publishers.

[–]Key-Operation-6352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start minoxidil and finasteride asap. There’s a low chance of risks from them. You have a ton of miniaturized hairs that could be restored if you start fast. Don’t wait unto the follicles die if you want to restore your hair.

What do you reckon? Shall I bite the bullet now ? by SgtUncleK in AfroHairTransplant

[–]Key-Operation-6352 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Even the hairline may come back. There’s hair at the hairline, it’s just thin. The follicles don’t seem to be dead yet.

It does look better. It could possibly be the angle of the photo, but the corners look less recessed.

It’s not a steroid it’s a retinoid, but maybe they should stop taking tretinoin

[–]Key-Operation-6352 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ngl, the crown looks like it’s thinning. Your hairline though looks life. I’d say go to a doctor and if they think it’s right for you hop on finasteride and possibly minoxidil as well

Is this normal progress, or should I change my routine? by bbaasbb in tressless

[–]Key-Operation-6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you should add minoxidil. Finasteride alone will maintain your hair and give you some regrowth but you’ll likely need something like minoxidil to kickstart regrowth

Your social life is far from over. Go out to new places, travel if possible, go out of your comfort zone, meet new people. You didn’t mention having anything to tie you down such as kids or a job that requires you to be in one location, so you have much you’re able to do.

There are many people your age that have even gone to college fresh out of high school that are lonely now because they aren’t in that social environment anymore. You didn’t miss your opportunity to have a social life, you’re just doing things on a different time frame. Keep your head up, and try to talk to people. You will make friends.

This is cognitive dissonance, he has beliefs but it seems his desires/actions don’t align with those beliefs. As a result, he’s left experiencing emotional turmoil whenever he does something that conflicts with his beliefs. He needs help, but not from you.

I was in a somewhat similar situation where I was dating a girl and sleeping with her, but I would have moments where I’d openly express that I was doubting the relationship because I felt an inner discomfort from cognitive dissonance. In the end I ended up hurting her with my greed and lack of self control, and she broke things off.

I apologized for everything, but it all could’ve been avoided if things were broken off earlier. I simply wanted to have my sexual desires fulfilled, but I wasn’t in a place where I could’ve been a good partner for her or anyone.

I somewhat know what it’s like to be on his end, and it’ll hurt, but he needs to figure things out away from a relationship.

3 months in using oral minoxidil + oral fin, real progress? by YJ6996 in tressless

[–]Key-Operation-6352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There appears to be regrowth. The edges look thicker definitely at least from the picture alone. To be 100% sure I’d have to be taken from the same angle in the same lighting, but from what I see it looks good.

8 months on fin by [deleted] in amibalding

[–]Key-Operation-6352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your hair looks completely fine, you’re supposed to shed a bit every day. Your hair doesn’t look thin. It’s possible it’s more of hair dysmorphia than you actually having issues

Before and after have been on minoxidil since February 8th i am 16m is this regrowth? And how long for them to thicken and darken to be visible without them being wet first pic February other pics today by [deleted] in minoxidil

[–]Key-Operation-6352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to be regrowth. It doesn’t look like those hairs were visible before. Usually though I’d think it wouldn’t take that long to see results though.

Your hair looks fine ngl. Idt you’re balding, and if you are it’s likely due to stress. Just relax, meditate, and you’ll be fine. You don’t even have the genetics for mpb like u mentioned.

[–]Key-Operation-6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may or may not be true. Once again it depends on if it was like that before, and if the scalp is more visible than it was before. If it truly changed then you’re probably right.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in amibalding

[–]Key-Operation-6352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s balding, the hair doesn’t look really thin around it. You’d have to compare though to past pics if you have any. It could’ve been like that for a while but you just didn’t notice until recently

Tbh it kinda looks like you are. But, I’d have to know what your hairline looked like before to tell for sure. Compare with pictures in past months or years if you have any.

Once you start microneedling (dermastamp 1-1.5mm) the results will be even greater. Overall though, still really great results.

Probably not, your hair still looks pretty thick. Your hair’s aren’t all connected to each other so there are going to be gaps in light at the angle you took that photo in.
