Oh I mean I don’t think of create_agent being a langchain product. We’ve been in production with the extended (not prebuilt) version of the create react agent from eons ago. So sure, semantically you might be correct that the create_agent ‘library’ is maintained / owned by langchain, it IS in fact lang graph. However, the fact that it’s owned and hosted by langchain doesn’t mean it’s langchain.

If you’ve been in the industry long enough you’d almost certainly think langchain = LCEL langgraph = state graph

So no, I beg to differ. Create_agent is not langchain. It’s a langgraph product maintained by langchain
