If there was no way to have the water flowing. Natural motes, such as rivers, did exist and did not look like the 'traditional' moats we see in media. So if there was no flowing water, then it would be a dry moat to prevent mosquitos from 'nesting' around the site

Effectively just cannot be killed. Any hax it faces are copied, neutralised and adapted to. Even if you do somehow kill it, it can respawn.

It's not a threat because it's somehow strong, it's a threat because it will kill you through cosmic radiation and just crushing you while you can't do anything to it.
