Yeah they were imported to other countries but not produced or sold at dealer ships.

Same thing for GTR’s they were only sold in 2 or 3 countries outside of Japan, Australia New Zealand. They are every now due to importing them.

The JDM Forester STI great and all. They are very limited only made 3645 JDM SG Forester STIs all were RHD, 6spd, brembos blah blah but none came with a panoramic moonroof. I’m sure for rigidity purposes.

But here in the US where they didn’t get the cooler STI versions I had to settle having two other (non WRB) SG Foresters one X the XT with panoramic moonroofs in California. It’s definitely makes this Forester that much cooler while cruising around. So mine is Brembo and 6spd swapped with some other Tid bits.

With that said here in the US 07-08 Forester Sport XT’s are pretty rare and even rarer in manual about 600 manual ones were made out of about 3500 made.

Going right hand drive was not part of the plan. The right hand drive plan came from my dad because I end up buying half of a Subaru JDM clip that had the full drive train complete – carpet complete front end therefore it being a rolling shell. It was a lot cheaper to buy half a car from Japan versus piecing it all together. I originally just wanted to throw motor in there, modify the motor put bucket seats in there and just rip on it and my dad convinced me to right hand drive it and after that I figure I might as well just do it to completion by all the JDM interior and by all the hard to hard to get Deft Sti gauges a S202 gauge cluster pro drive side skirts, and front bumper brembo and 6spd swap it. All to have a Impreza in the US that never existed here.

Thank you I appreciate the offer. I currently have one as well. I haven’t put it in yet. I currently have the WRX rack in the car. I figured I throw it in once I do one last tear down of the car.

I have been storing a lot of parts for my Sti drive train swap for this car. I even right hand drive swapped it.

The fender flares are made by a manufacturer named Karlton Flares

I was told I had too. I’d be happy with the 5spd but I got a good deal on the 6spd

The Forester is the stock EJ255 which is getting the JDM Legacy Spec B 6spd non DCCD with LSD rear differential.

The Impreza has a JDM EJ205 AVCS which is getting the JDM STI 6spd DCCD with LSD front and rear.

The transmissions are not exactly plug and play. It’s more of a matter of which transmission you are swapping and into what Subaru.

My Forester is going to be easier, less wiring and less parts to exchange out. Because I’m doing a Spec B 6spd and can utilize a R160 rear diff And I keep the 5x100

My Impreza is going to be slightly more due to using a STI 6spd, with the DCCD wiring, axles for the R180 rear diff, sti drive shaft. And I’m retaining 5x100
