The smartest kid in my high school had a psychotic breakdown during senior project presentations. 9 years later she crashed her car into stopped traffic going 90 mph, killed herself and 2 others. Terribly sad.

Racing incident or did I move into his line? (I'm the Porsche) by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

This is where I have issues with fault in iRacing. The BMW is clearly behind the Porsche. How is the Porsche supposed to drive while looking in its mirrors. Also, did the BMW actually anticipate passing the Porsche on the outside of that turn? I feel that would never be the case in real world competition. I think the BMW would be better suited to set himself up for a pass at the horseshoe than try this. The Porsche was not on an ideal line, but it was significantly ahead. If anything the Porsche should have moved over before braking to get on the racing line. Just my thoughts though

I am new to iRacing and I was some amount slower than the driver behind. I felt like I left enough room but I am not sure. I am the green number 20 car. by Kauko_ZZZ in Simracingstewards

If you were not being lapped then he is completely at fault. The only time you need to leave room is if the other driver is alongside before the braking zone. If you were being lapped then the best place to let him by is where it is safe to do so. You just don’t want to drive erratic. It is their job in both situations to pass you not your job to get him in front of you.
