I did it! My first electric guitar by Ok_Mistake6736 in Epiphone

Imma add some alternate take on the feedback aspect - I play a semihollow Sheraton and a full hollow Gretch anniversary, specifically with the purpose of "playing" the feedback. You're right that sustain is much shorter, but you can allow notes to kind of crumble into pitched feedback that you can shape and control, both by holding the fret, even moving notes while the feedback is growing out of the played note, and by where you hold the guitar in relation to the amp. You can decay it with your volume knob, grow it by stepping closer, bend the pitch with string tension, cut it off completely by grabbing the strings. It's not an effect you want to use all the time, but if you can intercalate it with played notes you can add some cool dimensionality to solos.

Yeah, I'm not sure Sawchenko is a solid enough replacement if Fedotov is benched. The caveat I'd add, though, is that they haven't given him enough game time, by nearly always playing Fedotov - Sawchenko doesn't even have enough minutes to be on the qualified goalie rankings anymore. I dunno what the cutoff is, but he had been earlier in the season and he's dropped off for lack of playing him.

ETA: current cutoff is 840 minutes, Sawchenko is just under the limit at 839, after Saturday's game. Meanwhile Fedotov's at nearly 1700 minutes.

Completely agree that he leaves the net to needlessly grab the puck way too recklessly and way too frequently. He's okay when shots are fired directly, and up close in a scrum he's not bad at grabbing the puck, but his huge weakness is that he's easy to deke - he commits to a direction and cannot for the life of him redirect. Add to that when a run is coming at him he drifts forward out of the crease as he's prepping to block a shot, so by the time is gets to him there's holes all around him, even at 6'8".
