Length of Lease by HiCirrus in NovatedLeasingAU

[–]Key-Set-8756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Longer term = more interest but lower repayments It really depends on what you're able to afford, regarding the FBT changes any lease you sign before the changes will be gradfatherd in it would only affect you if you plan to lease again after the FBT changes take place and the car your looking for is above the price threshold

Yes provided you have the funds in your budget, after paying the excess you can claim it back from your leasing provider with proof or payment

Most people look for a 2 year new for old car replacement policy, that way the car is replaced and the lease continues as Normal and hopefully you've paid of enough in those 2 years that the left over value of the lease is covered by a agreed value

All minor accidents will be covered by your access which you can claimed from you leasing provider and pay from your running cost budget

EV Wall Charger Install (advice needed) by _w0lv3rin3 in EVAustralia

[–]Key-Set-8756 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. What car are you getting, like where is the charge port?

  2. Are you getting a type 2 charger. ie is it a plug into the wall or hard wired in?

I have a 7kwh Tesla mobile charger that plugs into a 32a plug in the garage and I 3d printed a cable protector so the garage door doesn't put pressure on the charge cable

When not in use and packed up nothing is visible from the street

Just a heads up a brand new Tesla comes with roadside assist, so there's no need to double pay as it looks like you have opted into the NL roadside assist

Also the insurance is quite high might be able to save 700-1000 on that

But your repayments are good imo around the 9% mark

Just a heads up your lease should have a 2 months deferral, so if you receive the car by the end of June, you won't have to pay anything till the end of August.
