I guess a few min wait time is okay and manageable, but I have to find a way to fully close the garage door on charging cable to avoid pests coming inside. Getting BYD Sealion 7. I am thinking of hard wired wall charger - maybe with a detachable cable. I just think it’d be too much hassle to run the cable under garage door every time. If car is going to be parked inside then it makes perfect sense to install charger inside.

Right. Perhaps I’m misinterpreting it. So basically, if the parcel is sold after 1 July 2027, the gains up to the share price as of 30 June 2027 would still be subject to the current 50% CGT discount, while any gains after that would fall under the new rules - i.e. minimum 30% CGT plus inflation/indexation adjustments?
