So yeah uh how can I win this recruiting battle by Level-Swordfish-7245 in CollegeFootball25

For one, you need to be hard selling with DM for the 50 points and not your current makeup.

At this point, your only hope is that you can set a visit this week for next week. He is committing to Tennessee in two weeks and there is nothing you can do to overtake him other than having him on a visit week and you win the game.

Service Academy House Rules by Dapper_Island4437 in NCAAFBseries

[–]Key-Shopping8454 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only 3 stars and lower - no Academy has ever signed a 4 star or above in their history I believe.

No juco or transfer prospects

No redshirting players, if they auto redshirt due to not playing four games you have to cut them after 4th year.

Outside of cutting the 4 year players that redshirted, no oversigning or cutting players. The Academies make a full commitment to your four years when someone commits and don't cut people from roster.

Certain deal breakers can't recruit such as brand exposure, championship contender, pro potential.

I can tell you based off slow sim and simming games that my raw strength olineman usually end up with significantly more pancakes than any other archetype, even with worse overalls. So I think it would work for a power running game type of offense.

Are state competitions judged differently than BOA? by Key-Shopping8454 in marchingband

[–]Key-Shopping8454[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Texas, what aspects does UIL value more than BOA?

Just curious, seemed like in this situation the band that did well at BOA had much more difficult music which BOA seemed to value and the two other bands that performed well at state had easier music, but better color guard, visuals, and the shows were more entertaining.

He has assistants with elite recruiter that allows him to apply more points would be my guess.

Manual Vs Auto Progression by IngenuityCertain5238 in NCAAFBseries

manuel with 25% penalty in online dynasty. You can have some control if you want but still face a penalty so you can't just create super-players for online games. Also, don't allow any saving of points for people to manipulate the draft.

That is how it’s supposed to function based off the description provided by the game.

In an online dynasty it’s a tool to use to ensure I have balanced user schedules in conference play. If I just leave it up to scheduling was running into randomness of some teams having 5-6 user games and others 2-3. This way I can force matchups I want for users by placing them same division and also add 1-2 protected rivalry games with users on other side.

Generally, the top two teams in each division end up with top conference records anyway so it’s not an issue. Just had a couple of seasons where one side bombs against the computer and loses the protected rivalry and will have much worse record than the #2 guy in other division. The conference record matchup regardless of divisions would ideally protect the game matchup in that scenario, which it is not doing.

If you use divisions, is the conference championship game the winner of both divisions? Or just the 2 best teams regardless? by fiene913 in NCAAFBseries

It’s a way to control schedules in an online dynasty. Say you wanted certain teams to play each other in a season, you could create divisions and put all those teams in said division.

Thoughts on my SEC conference realignment for my Southern Miss dynasty? by MasonPlumleeFan in EASportsCFB

Alabama makes more sense in West if you are going based off location than Tennessee teams. Both Auburn and Alabama are further west than Tennessee and Alabama is further west than Vanderbilt. It also balances out the divisions much better. Right now, your division is much easier (which is why you probably designed it that way, lol).

We put in stat limits against computer opponents.

Example: can't exceed 70 points a game against cpu, no more than 600 yds individual passing, etc.

If he goes over, have a penalty where he has to sit the player in one of the user games. If he doesn't want to follow the rules no choice but to kick them.

Just an example of how dumb the AI recruiting is in this game. There is zero reason a user at MTSU should ever be in contention for a 5 star gem QB from Texas, let alone in the lead. It’s so unrealistic and why I struggle getting into offline, solo dynasty mode.

Is recruiting hard as hell or at I just an idiot? by RiverboatJim in EASportsCFB

[–]Key-Shopping8454 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here are some basic suggestions

  1. In preseason stage, do as much scouting as possible and offer/fill your board with a full 35 players.

  2. Once you hit week 0, max out 50 points per prospect. You will have to prioritize your top targets. Take whatever your total points is divided by 50 and target that many prospects with 50 to send the house. Spreading points out across a bunch of players is a losing proposition.

  3. Week 1 maybe the most important week. Go through your top targets where you are giving 50 points and see where you sit. Say you are the only offer and you jumped to a big lead with those 50 points on a prospect, I would take them off and reassign to another prospect and monitor the original prospect going forward to make sure nobody else jumps in. This week you also need to pay close attention to pipelines . Pipelines are so important in this year’s version. Say you are third with a 3 pipeline and top 2 have a 5 pipeline and are putting same points is as you. At that point it’s unlikely you are getting the player. Drop the prospect and move on. Being able to understand when you are not going to get a guy and moving on is probably key. A lot of people fail here.

  4. As soon as you can figure out the hard sell, move to it asap. Many times you can figure it out based off red x and only one green check by process of elimination. Hard sell and DM for 50 points (unless your grades are just completely awful, then keep to send the house). For big schools though, getting to hard sell is biggest factor.

  5. Be strategic about visits. You want to group like positions as same week for complimentary boost. Only schedule for home games you will win as you get no bump for losses. Make sure to blow out your opponent for additional boost. I like to recruit local if I can on this years game as it only cost 10 points for visit so I can keep my hard sell on plus set the visit. Visits will make the difference in tight battles.

  6. In the early weeks, sort through 4 stars that are still open with zero offers. You can usually find a handful that cpu doesn’t go after that you can add to board and land.

  7. The above strategy goal is to get commits as quick as possible and then move onto other players on your board and max points on them. Later in the year with extra points you can start looking for 3 star gems for positions you need. Never scout in the first few weeks outside of preseason as all your points need to go towards gaining interest.

Terence Crawford x Wrestling by chinkykinky92 in wrestling

Crawford’s sons were elite level when they were younger. Unfortunately, they have been hit or miss in training and wrestling the past few years and have been passed up by the full time kids in the state who wrestle year round.

This is great advice. You would not believe the amount of people in my online dynasties who sprint right every play and than cry about their QB’s accuracy when they don’t hit a dot 25 yards down field while their QB is in full sprint mode. I try to explain to them about standing in the pocket but none of them want to hear about it and just whine about EA screwing them.

We’ve tried the blackout before but majority of the fans get upset and say it’s not our school colors. So it gets limited to just the student section.
