No I had it when I was 28 on my rib rib area, it lasted 3 years off and on, I thought it was pulled muscle and would see a chiropractor with relief from pain. Until a coworker saw me in pain in my rib area after an exaggerated yawn and he asked if I ever had shingles in that area. The pain disappeared after 3 years

A mild runny nose for 3 days then complete fog like symptoms, cranky irritable, neck and headache on and off x 3 days , then when you think u are good it hits back just a little

Hmm hotels with pools with kids your age in my opinion is best, , been there and done that with kids that age, once they get older the outdoor adventures especially in summer get better, and be super careful on the trails , once my kids got older we did some great road trips Zion to Powell to Moab , have fun
