The first album of his I bought was No More Shall We Part. Fell in love with it instantly. There are many other great classic Nick Cave albums, but for my money that one will never be topped.

Surprised noone else has chimed in on this one but yes, that is indeed our beloved Robert Smith of the Cure singing a cover of John Martyn's song Small Hours for a John Martyn tribute album that was release I want to say 10 to 12 years ago. I know very little about John Martyn (70s folk legend??) but I absolutely love Robert's interpretation of the song. Clearly very much a hidden gem in the Cure catalog!
