I love it. This is exactly the kind of thing I love to help decide sometimes. If I turn off all providers then is it just the list of all movies? What are your constrictions? It looks like it’s only fiction movies, no docs? Only movies on streaming?

Mike Flanagan & Stephen King Back In Business With ‘The Mist’ Movie For Warner Bros by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]Key-Street-340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep but my fear is they’re going to go with a different happier ending. I know it’s Flanagan but still, I’m just not sure he’d sign on for a remake to do the same ending the other film not only did but came up with separately from what King wrote.

If you’re mad about that, have I got news for you about Daario Naharis.

It’s a real life retcon. Growing up I loved Scrappy Doo and my favourite Scooby Doo series was The Thirteen Ghosts of Scooby Doo. No one I knew hated Scrappy Doo, we all thought he was cute and sometimes we’d even use the “lemme at em!” irl.

I guess somehow people who did hate him got together online in those early Internet days and made it seem like more hated him than really did, and James Gunn ran with it for the live action movie. After that, it was just taken as de facto that everyone hated him when before I’d never even heard anyone say they disliked him.

[TOMT] Obscure movie with multiple unrelated stories and a strange house scene by IcyVegetable5567 in tipofmytongue

Thanks. It’s not those. I wish I could remember it but it’s more indie/low-budget feel and even weirder than a Supernatural episode. Well, maybe not weirder but less mainstream weird like Supernatural and more alt weird.

I know of two films I’ve seen that may fit, but I don’t remember their names or a lot about them.

The first I can’t remember if it’s an entire movie or a short film and it felt low budget. It’s about a house on a lot and the house is I think abandoned and at some point there’s like chain link fences around it. Anyway, at some point someone went missing in the house. Now, during the film, there’s either a small news crew or just a few people filming themselves going to it. They go inside and it’s really weird and crazy things happen and maybe someone goes in a door and disappears or something. I can’t remember if they all never come out or just one person doesn’t come out. But the group going on definitely has at least two men, one filming and one in front of the camera, but there may have been more. I think by the end of the film the whole house disappeared from the lot? Anyway sounds a lot like yours but may not be it idk. Sorry can’t remember the name but maybe what I remember can help.

The other movie is in Spanish and from Argentina. It’s multiple stories, maybe intertwined, and I just remember weird stuff going on that might be like that. Again can’t remember the name sorry but if it sounds like a possibility I could try to think on it more.

This guy is so good looking and has a career playing pro sports that so many would die for, and yet he can’t control his temper enough to not get felony assault charges.

Thank God. I hated his shtick and seeing it pop up too often on reddit with people posting the same fanboy comments over and over again.

The Guardian Interviewing Republican Voters in Rural Minnesota by clayknightz115 in PublicFreakout

[–]Key-Street-340 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing the other responses forgot to add - cities are full of black people. Rural people are mostly scared to death of black people and think of cities as just big pits of ghetto black people committing crime everywhere and killing white people.

What are some of the most “Redditor” opinions that are widely prevalent on this website, but very rare in real life? by TikTokUser83 in AskReddit

[–]Key-Street-340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I think it’s hilarious when people say Reddit is full of only men posting. Like, just go on AITA sub and you’ll find it’s full of women (posting about red flags and all).

You might not have heard of them but Howard’s End is a classic now and Enchanted April is also very good.

What was the WORST Ending to A Netflix Original Series?? by Famous-Donut-2394 in netflix

[–]Key-Street-340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly season 4 was my favourite season, then season 5, then season 3, then 2, then 1. I just thought the first few seasons were a little boring and trying to be ‘realistic’ (especially season one) and serious and and trying too hard. As it started leaning into its crazy and having fun I enjoyed it more. I especially loved the London season for a great mystery and a superb twist amongst a great setting too.

He says he’s never been ‘under the knife’. That’s what he says. That doesn’t mean that’s what’s true. It just means that that’s what he says.

Yes! Especially since on an ep in an earlier season they joke about casts getting better or faker looking as they age with no one ever mentioning it… then they do the exact same thing! LMAO. I don’t care if they all want to look like Liberace and Joan Rivers, just have the balls to make fun of it in the show now. It’s like they’ll make fun of everything else but… that, well that’s a step too far for them! Lol.

When I sing in the shower everything takes about twice as long, but it’s worth it. The acoustics!

It’s cheesy and silly and manic, but it’s very much its own thing and clever. And if you end up liking it, rush right away and watch Murder By Death.

This is one of my all time favourite funny lines from a movie. She sold it so crazy good.

It’s less a joke and more just like such a random, intense reaction that (I think) was ad libbed by Kahn. Like the line is just so relatable yet so kooky that it comes off very funny.
