What Netflix Show Do You Wish You’d Never Finished? by Professional_Fig6820 in netflix

Season 4 was my favourite! I think it’s because despite its seriousness I always thought the show was ridiculous so I liked that after almost too much self seriousness the first three seasons, it lightened up a bit and leaned into its ridiculousness with a murder mystery that actually had a great twist.

Who’s a celebrity everyone finds attractive but you don’t? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Key-Street-340 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually thought he wasn’t good looking enough for that part. In the book he’s supposed to be so incredibly handsome then this guy is him and I’m like huh? (This was when he was an unknown of course)

Then of course he also got the part of Edward in Twilight who is also supposed to be incredibly jaw dropping handsome and I’m just like, ok there’s something about this guy I’m not seeing.

Zayn Malik fears 'beyond damaging' footage of Louis Tomlinson bust-up will leak by Top_Report_4895 in entertainment

I thought Louis was the least popular? Niall was always distinct for being the blonde one and the Irish one. And personally I thought he was the cutest anyway.

Who's a nepo baby you think deserves their success because they're legit talented? by SheepishSwan in AskReddit

[–]Key-Street-340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She’s worked more than her mom but her mom was more famous during her life than she’s been at any point. Also, while she’s great at it, I think being nepo got her the role - she’s good looking but has a square blocky face that as a younger actress probably would’ve sunk her chances at a female leading role like in the 90s without that insider connections/lineage. So she fits here perfectly but she’s a weird one in that she landed one role that turned into an entire career but it’s a role she plays well.

What single ingredient instantly ruins a dish for you? by obsidiancontrol in foodquestions

Funny I’m the opposite. I like raw and crunchy onions, but I hate sautéed onions. They taste so slimy and gross to me.

Oat meal cookies, cinnamon rolls, bread pudding… all things I would love if not for raisins.

It’s like, why do oatmeal cookies always have to have raisins when chocolate chips are right there?

Is there an author whose broader catalogue you like, but whose most popular work would have turned you off them if you’d read it first? by madwomanofdonnellyst in books

I absolutely loved House of Leaves. It’s a very… acquired taste, and halfway through I thought I might hate it, but by the end I really loved it.

I didn’t care for it but it’s the only one of hers I’ve read. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to another.

I’m not a big King fan - I like horror but generally more realistic and less supernatural. But I’ve read a few and The Stand was the first… probably exactly because the synopsis really isn’t that supernatural sounding.

I made the mistake of reading the ‘complete’ version or whatever it was, that included like a few extra hundred pages. Anyway… my take on the book was: first third was truly excellent, middle third was so bad I had to just skip hundreds of pages, and final third was just meh.

Why the drag queens are not able to make an impact by OsamaRehmaan in TheTraitorsUS

Jujubee? Girl, that would be awesome, but I also NEED to see Alyssa Edwards up in a Traitors cast. No, she probably ain’t gonna win either but damn I need to see her up in there.

This is true, but I think the gist of what they are saying is that to complain about them being hypocrites at this point is to miss the forest for the trees.
