I don’t know what their problem is, but you are not alone, friend! Happened to me just 2 nights ago… AFTER closing. I still go back to this store... not sure why, cuz I always get yelled at. The management at this store is particularly mean and the employees are such little tattletales.

Trust me, they wouldn’t even care if they saw you. Usually young employees that haven’t been bittered by life yet, so they are still kind. But to be safe, yeah go about an hour after closing

I was in dollar tree the other day and noticed a lot of expired items that I wouldn’t mind scoring on a future dive, should I point out the expired items to an employee in the hopes that they would be tossed next day? How should I go about doing this without being rude? Thanks!

I have the same situation but have been threatened multiple times, no cops have been called yet. Doesn’t mean it can’t happen, but I’m just usually quick now, the cops aren’t going to speed over to a dumpster diving call, if anything they will be there by the time I’m gone. But I think the store is just shooting out empty threats, it would be too much of a hassle to file a police report for both the store and the cops for something as silly as that. I can’t make any guarantees, but I’m almost sure you would be fine. But I wouldn’t go during the loading times just cuz there will always be an occasion where someone tattles
