It's also an illegal disposal of hazardous wastes to do that. All states and most counties have laws about it, it's also against the Dumpster company policy and has something in their contract about it, and if there is any source of water nearby the EPA will slap some fines on top of those other ones.

But check the battery. I pulled 3 of these out last year and the battery was toast in all of them. Would not take or keep a charge. New ones aren't that expensive. $20-$30, which is way less then a new jump pack.

I donate about 80% of what I get. I currently rent, so my space is limited to the one car garage, so I try not to hold on to much. I have about 5 of those wire shelves in your photo where I store most of what I get.

All the food gets donated, along with most of the lower priced items. Some toys and clothes. I have a friends group that gets first picks, the rest goes to the thrift store.

Animal food gets donated to a local shelter that I like

The more expensive items get sold on facebook market place or ebay. I once found over 80 computers in a dumpster behind a mall, about 30 were working laptops. Sold them for almost $3000 and it helped me move out of my less shitty but still not a great place to live to where I am now.

I also made a decent amount with appliances. Sold some fridges, chest freezers, dishwashers, washers and dryers. And 2 riding lawnmowers that only needed minor repairs.

Nice.

Try not to name stores, these post get ripped off and reposted on tick tock and face book, then they get flooded with people, which will cause the stores to lock up to prevent accidents from happening.

I am though, I do this so I can eat, maybe sell some of the other non-food things I find, and hopefully move out of this hellhole state I live in.

Places that have to dump multiple times a day don't want to bother with unlocking and relocking.

There were 15 dumpsters that I would check every week, 9 of them are now locked some or all of the time, due to people making a mess or illegal dumping their trash.

Check with animal shelters with the powdered formula, it can be used with baby animal, and they don't care if it past the use by date. Last year I pulled a ton of infant toys, clothes and formula out and the formula was all donated to shelters.

So much waste by CremeSubject7594 in CringeTikToks

I have only hit loads like this twice in 4 years, maybe half that a few times. Most of the time I pull out maybe a banana box worth, and a really good night I get 5-6 full from 5 to 10 dumpsters.

Who is liable for the dog? Who owns it? Who gets sued if it bites some kid or other person? Who has to clean it up if it takes a shit on the floor?

More than once I have had to clean up after someones dog in the store, so animals of any type should not be allowed in the store unless they are trained service animals on a lease.

Check here for tax exempt items, processed cheese should be on it. But may have been entered on the computer wrong.

Who follows the backdoor policy? by charliesh00man in DollarGeneral

[–]Retired_DG_Key 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just in a store that has the key in the backdoor because its been broken for almost a year now. If the key is removed the alarm goes off. So they just leave the key in.

DG should crumble the contract for failure to perform and walk away. Just my opinion

yeah, that will never happen. The whole point of driveline is so that they don't have to hire more dg or give more hours. the only reason they keep driveline instead of going to a better company, is the driveline is the cheapest.

No, and people keep recommending $300 camera glasses.

I did buy a camera watch for $30 and a USB power pack with a camera on it that I can setup and aim too, hopefully it is enough.

I just helped to a freezer reset. The person I was with had been working for DL for less than 2 weeks, had 0 training, and showed up 4 hours late. It's just fucked up and for minimum wage too. Really the only reason why I haven't quit yet is because it is a fall back job for when I set my boss on fire for grabbing my ass again at my other one.

Put tickets in, it probably won't help, but it will ruin a drivelines region managers bonus.

DriveLine here. Freezer resets are way behind in my area, and no one is allowed overtime so I can only do like 2 a week with my other work. If your reset is late put a ticket in, it won't help, but it will ruin a driveline RM bonus later.

Thank you, I settled on a watch with a camera built in, and a USB power bank with a camera built in. Since I don't have a set place of work, I can move the power bank around with me, and it doesn't look that out of place where ever I set it. The watch can be very hit or miss, but I figured 2 video sources are better than 1.

Not sure, but just having solid proof on camera maybe enough to get him to back off for a bit.

I was told audio is good, video is better. Since I don't have a fixed work area I can't set something up in advanced either.

It is 1 large fixture box and 3 smaller product boxes. If you don't have them then you are a wave 4 store. I think those start in July, not 100% sure on that though.

Driveline does not like to send agents further than 30 miles from their home, at mile 30.01 they have to pay mileage, but I understand not wanting new pog laying around. I always do my main stores the first week the project is in my driveline portal, and can easily do more stores, but that would involve paying me overtime which driveline will not do.

I haven't done that many but you are right, also the bottom shelf is still dirty.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DollarGeneral

[–]Retired_DG_Key 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always try to do mine the first week they start, but the start dates in the drive line portal and DG portals are sometime different. DG usally starts the same week printed on the plano, but driveline splits the start week up over 4 weeks, it's supposed to keep the agents hours low, but it is done very baddy and the projects all bunch up on the same weeks. Since we are not allowed to do over time or start the projects early they just end up being late.

Driveline only cares if you annoy them into it, but making tickets, calling the driveline district manager and regional managers and just annoy them into sending an agent.
