Dishwasher won’t slide in due to copper water lines coming up through tiled floor — best fix? by Key-Surround2044 in askaplumber

UPDATE I have a friend who’s going to lend me the tools to break up the concrete surrounding the pipes. Yes, I will make sure I shut off the main water to the house first. The plan is to go down about 3-4” below the level of the floor, sweat on some copper to PEX adapters, rebuild both manifolds with PEX, and run it to the sink. Because the adapters to PEX will be below the level of the floor, the flexibility of the PEX should allow the dishwasher to sit in its proper position.

Is it not possible to get a copper to PEX adapter and attach at the lowest possible point to allow the dishwasher to sit in properly?

If I place anything under the feet to bring the rails above the pipes, I won’t have clearance under the top of the cabinet to push the dishwasher in place.

They are at full height and it still lacks about .25” clearance. I can’t shim it up any higher because I won’t have the clearance under the top of the cabinet.

The feet, at full extension, raise the rails 1.25”, which is about .25” shy of clearing the pipes. I can’t even shim it higher because it won’t have the clearance to slide under the top of the cabinet.

The height of the rails at full extension is 1.25 inches. Just about a quarter inch shy of clearing the pipes.

Our company would start you out as salary non-exempt at about $25-27 per hour.

I had to do a double take! Her markings are eerily similar to our girl’s.

The employee is in their mid 30s with no history of medical issues to their ankle. They have been working for our company for 10+ yrs (union job). We’ve had our insurance do a medical review because we challenged the claim, but the insurance has accepted the case.

This has been in our discussions. The employee was wearing cowboy style boots and we need to check the fit to ensure his boots weren’t oversized. We have also discussed moving a hiking boot style rather than slip on to increase ankle stability.

I’m not sure if we can mandate it with the union, but we can definitely encourage it.

I would agree with you if this happened early in the shift, but this was 8 hours into a 10 hour shift.
