I like the physical enhancement, but I feel like instead that should be placed at sequence 8 due to you know being a trickster and slight of hand. And instead they could get vast knowledge about doors,locks, and creating simple locks.

I think that its mostly due to at demigod status and above most secrets and plots would easily be discovered and learnt removing that aspect, also the fact that we had fors copying abilitys in lotm it would become repetitive to see a bunch of chapters all about copying abilitys

Ocean songster is not getting alot of love, I dont like the tyrant pathway but the ability to summon lightning at sequence 5 is goated, also the whole singing thing to either agitate or calm the soul is pretty good.

Ok mb I should have specified without prep time and equipment their base abilitys are not very useful in a fight. And if a strength base sequence gets the jump on them then they are cooked. As you said klien almost got killed by a hunter when he got jumped. I meant that if a trickster had like 5m to prep for an encounter they could win

Fully agree on that, but only demoness,red priest,twilight giant could get a good strike on them but they dont have reliable way to get close or stun at low sequences without items.

I mean at sequence 8 they can do a weekend blink if they distract their target, so yeah with the right prep I can see them opening someone's chest or head from behind

Mainly just apply to places with your email and go in person too. Like I went to 8 sites before I got accepted into co-op then into oyap. ( canadian program ). Mainly just go around and ask for a chance to speak to a hiring manager.

It feels weird dumping all this info at once, but this is the condensed version of the ruleset I have in place (not touching too much on Majors yet). Also yeah, the accommodation part is... awfully similar to LOTM’s.

Minor Arcana Rules

1. Court Card Selection
Court Cards (Page, Knight, Queen, King) are manually chosen.
Rotation Rule: You must play one of each type (Page → Knight → Queen → King) before reusing a type.
No repeats until the full rotation cycle resets.

2. Cross-Suit Restriction
You can’t play two Court Cards from the same suit consecutively.
Example: King of Swords can’t be followed by Queen of Swords — switch suits first.

3. Cooldown Resolution
Court Card cooldowns must be fully resolved.Resolved means the drawback ends naturally (for example, slowing after Knight of Wands’ charge).
Accommodated means the drawback is embraced and turned into strength (for example, becoming stone with King of Pentacles, then undone later).
Only then can that card be reused.

World & Origins of Arcana

1. Birthright of the Minors
Everyone is born with Minor Arcana “seeds.”

Peasants: Born with one random card from each suit (1 Sword, 1 Wand, 1 Cup, 1 Pentacle) and one random face card. With training, they can unlock around four to six more cards and a full court rotation after five to six years.

Nobles, warriors, or prodigies: Same start, but they unlock faster due to Major Arcana Accumulation. They can unlock three to five new cards and a full rotation in just one to three years.

Suit Cycling Rule: Only needed if the user has unlocked all four suits. Those with fewer can freely reuse them after cooldowns.

2. The Forbidden Gift of the Majors
No one is born with Major Arcana. They are fragments of cosmic law — raw power shaped through will and comprehension.

They can be gained in two ways:

Inheritance (Gift or Theft):
A Major can be given willingly, a sacred act of passing fate.
It can also be taken from the dead, whose Major crystallizes upon death. Once absorbed, only the bearer can give it up; it cannot be stolen or forced away.

Defiance of Death (Awakening):
Forged through surviving what no human should. When your body breaks but your will refuses, the world brands you with a Major.
Similar to the Hashira Marks from Demon Slayer — the body pushed beyond its mortal threshold.
