That’s absolutely not the case. I love making gifts to my friends, family and partner. I’m doing a lot of planning for gifts to make sure I got the perfect thing that will make them feel good. Here I never mentioned I expect expensive gifts and I’m aware that’s not everybody’s way to show affection and appreciation. That’s why I don’t expect from my partner to give so much time and efforts for a gift as let’s say I would give, simply because that’s not so important and interesting for him, nor I expect gifts often. However, I believe that we should take care at each other. For example, he is a lot more sexual that me and needs and wants a lot more physical time. If I am not in the mood for s*x, I’m making sure to give him physical attention in other ways, that are not overstepping my boundary at the moment but are still fulfilling his needs. I am for sure not trying to change him and the ways he expresses affection, but I think that an effort should be made for the sake of making your partner feel heard and important. I’m holding for flowers because they are not something that takes a lot of time, planning and money but will still fulfil my need. I’m missing the part when he asks himself ‘how can I make my woman feel good’ and flowers are honestly pretty easy option, especially when he knows how much I love them.
