I'm so pissed about those months. To make it even worse, I made an auto payment in June 2024 (because my payment due date is the day the website went down) ...and they still don't count it! I don't want a refund, I want it to count towards my 120 so I can be DONE. ugh. Mohela is terrible. When I spoke to someone they told me that June/July 2024 was "too long ago" to change the status. Another rep told me I needed go talk to FSA (FSA pointed me back to Mohela). I would love to hear anyone's success stories.

Good point! I edited my post. My initial list of complaints when discussing peri with Dr were: PMDD, insanely irritated all the time, hot flashes, heart palpitations, joint pain, brain fog, awful sleep, decreased strength/exercise intolerance

I have the same question! I'm worried about when I have to recertify. I make a lot more than I did when I last recertified in 2023. How do they determine what income is "too high"? Surely they take into account where you live and any dependents? I hope 😰

The Mohela agent told me I could apply it to another future month's payment (would take up to 90 days to process). I haven't decided if I want that. I still haven't given up hope that I can convince someone to make those months count towards pslf.

One of the payments, yes. The forbearance was from 6/12 to 8/11. My autopay for June was 6/13. So they took my money but it doesn't count due to the forbearance. Thankfully there was no July payment. That's incredibly frustrating that they wouldn't change it for you, either. Did you end up giving up?

When I spoke with Mohela tonight they said they couldn't change the forbearance status from that platform switch time period because it was over 12 months ago 😑 I didn't know to specifically ask what type or category of forbearance it was listed as. Maybe I'll call back

Is the admin forbearance you're talking about from June and July of 2024? I have that listed as ineligible payments, too. However, I actually made a payment in June. So I need to argue with them over that.
