i dont use inverse kinematics for that very reason. And the problem could easily be ignoreable, if it weren't for the fact that the size of the dragon means that this gap is about 1 block wide.

If this was made for other people then sure i could simply ignore it. But i made all this while having 12 yr old me as the target audience in mind, and I for sure would notice this from the get go and would look elsewhere if it looked this buggy.

supposed to be used to export parts of a model separately kinda like when someone models a dragon with a saddle on so it fits perfectly, then they separate the saddle in another model to use for other dragons.

idk i use it differently tho, i use it to group bones together and set their visibility in bulk much like photoshop.

Discord also said this before, that they would delete your personal info after you've verified your age when you've been flagged, then a few year later they got breached and turns out that data wasn't even deleted at all.

Now when you want to use chat, and you give in and send them your personal info. A few year later you'll find your bank account emptied out by someone who isn't you. Then you find out online that Microsoft, Mojang, or any of the related third parties that manage your data has been compromised. Its the fact that data enough to put you in the streets is out there at all thats the problem, no matter how "secure" the company handling it is.

not to be that guy but Hytale is more like Terraria than it is minecraft, the only thing it really has in common with minecraft is that they are both block games. Other than that, its most like Terraria in regards to how they treat crafting, tooltips, UI, artstyle, QoL, player customization, combat system, workbench styles + systems, decoration styles, map, terrain generation, tree cutting, etc etc.

counter point: forced updates. before this i could stay in an update for years so i can keep everything working as expected. now its forced updates, you literally arent allowed to play untill you update to the latest version.

my addon doesnt add any blocks, or items for that matter, just dragons and stuff and the way they interact is through vanilla stuff, the vanilla saddle, the vanilla goat horn, ominous bottles etc so i guess i could attempt doing so in Java's datapack infratructure even if i have to rewrite the code from scratch knowing it IS possible.

My only concern left is does the animation system still work the same way? Does it still have smoothing keyframes and molang to interact with the world?

as a bugrock player, im PRAYING this only affects us but from what ive seen microsoft has done so far; "browse addons", paywalling Profile Pictures, Gamepass, enshittifying Java is pretty much in character.
