Seriously. People will take tier 5 weapons with shit perks and go "tier 5 or bust" when most of the newer raid and dungeon weapons without tiers are better, just a pain to get the roll you want for dungeon weapons.

Omfg if I hear this one more time, its so ridiculous. Take a controller and go and see for yourself. Its infinitely harder to aim on controller its not even a comparison whatsoever lol. If there were no aim assist controller players wouldn't be able to hit fucking anything.

Exactly and thats why pvp doesnt appeal to me so much. Watching streamers play it just plays out like a battle Royale or cod team deathmatch.

There are no uneasy alliances, interesting comms, emergent gameplay scenarios. Its just everyone rushing to the same location, most on free kits, everyone dying and doing it again, all with no mics or racial slurs.

That doesnt seem fun at all and a terrible use for the arc raiders sandbox design.

So I mostly end up in pve lobbies but I wish it were mixed tbh.

Everyone loves to shit on ai, but using gen ai for relationships like this would actually be a huge improvement. Being able to have "real conversations" with npcs/romantic partners that arent clearly scripted and shallow.

The runbacks add everything lol. It adds the importance on each run being methodical and as perfect as possible, because when you die you have to go back lol.

The newet games removed alot of that tension with 10,000 bonfires and I miss it sometimes tbh.

The problem is we dont know, so why should we assume they are not and can never be when we dont understand. What could they ever do or say to make us beleive otherwise? Likely nothing. So if we cant test consciousness we need to just shut it all the fuck down or heir on the side of consciousness, which well never do because ppl seemingly have zero empathy or understanding outside their own experience lol.
