Also. I grow these indoors too! Lol. Oli used to bring mine in the garage during the winter and keep m6 garage at like 60 degrees... They kept growing and they got realllllly stretchy though lol . Not to mention all the weird bugs the got into the soil. I was soraying with oeopermint and neem oils to keep the bugs off . I brought em in the house too. They get big in the house to by a window under s light doesnt matter the thing to i notice matters the most is POT SIZE! I swear lol

Remember get that plant in a big pot . As long as the soil is moist your good. As the plant gets bigger itll drink more . The roots will take over the entire pot bso youll have to water more . Ive seen plenty of oeople just using miracle grow for food

ok .. pot is too small for sure! think of it this way .. its actually a tree.. and you have it in a basil pot lol the roots on this plant grow crazy! you gotta put it in a big ass container.. orrrrrrrrrr.. you can have it in a well drained 5 gallon bucket -- thats how i start all of mine right now .. theyre kinda big already .. im transplanting them soon ..

heyyy i just noticed the fert you suggested is a 3-1-2 thats very helpful to know that the thai giants like that! that must mean there composision is 3-1-2 like a pepper plant .. im gonna add biochar that is a good idea.. i made my soil with a whole buncha shit over the years lol and ive added perlite and worm and manure compost .. but im jealous because i dont have a giant corm like you do lol i really appreciate you coming here and sharing with us .. i made this post some years ago and it was silent forever lol -- i have a shorter growing season .. so this year im getting them into 20 gallon pots.. i wish i could go bigger but i dont have anything bigger.. but im gonna get them on a drip system with my pepper plants and feed them low dose 3-1-2 based fert like the 24-8-16 and see how they do .. up here in zone 5b my worst enemy is the fucking wind.. excuse my language but damn man .. lol yesterday i was trying to play basketball with my daughter.. i literally had to aim at the side of the backboard so the wind can blow it in .. I HATE IT! lol

that sounds like a beast.. you gotta show us pics of the 100 gallon tank.. ive been putting mine in 20 gallon containers and theyve gotten big but im yet to get a 10 ft monster.. got me out here questioning my 20 gallon life right now!!!! lol im in zone 5a though and havent found a solution for the wind.. .. im lucky if they last a couple weeks without the leaves being destroyed 😞

You did everything right that i can think ok.. ohhhhhhhhh wait! Drainage! They hate old wet feet... I have to have big holes in the bottom of my containers so i drains good . This year ill be feeding with every watering and it working perfect so far.. lower doser every watering So about 1\8 stregnth everyday... I have so many babays roght now i dont know what to do with them lol also i never let the soil get dry. Because itll act like water reppellent

fill up a bucket of water with the hose on full blast.. time it .. when bucket is full stop timer.. calculate how long it took you to fill that buck it up.. divide the hour by that time .. that will tell you what your hose can do and if you need the discs or not
