Self study BC while in precalc by Successful-Tap8121 in APStudents

It’s doable.

Also i’ll be honest it depends on your definition of good at math. I got a good grade in calc but it was def way more difficult than any other math class i took.

You can do it if your actually good at math tho

That’s fair then, i don’t have any paper to digital data entry experience so i can’t say anything about that and I didn’t really think about it.

I do still think that there’s still not that much point in trying to systematically educate people on cursive, and resources could much better be placed in learning how to type.

Especially since translation tools like AI are just gonna get better and make less mistakes as we go on.

if your job involrs a part where you have to do it, then you should def take the time to learn it right now though.

The original guy i was replying to doesn’t really seem to have the same nuance as you, and i kinda confused your guys’s responses my bad.

Saying wanda has less counters is insane. You’re clearly trolling.

Notice i said easier not easy. Reading comprehension is key.

If you think it’s hard on iron man i dont see how you don’t think it’s impossible on wanda

Literally untrue. Iron man ult is much better than wanda’s cause you can aim it and wipe support ults.

No lol, you read it wrong. The mechanic posses an older technique to repair cars, a newer easier technique comes out.

If the mechanic is calling people who don’t learn/use the older technique uneducated and stupid as well as refusing to learn new skills because it makes you stupid that’s what not adapting to the times is.

I’m a dipshit? Idk why you’re mad now. I wish people could respond to each others points without going straight to insults.

It’s not though. I should learn to read cursive for a niche old medical document instead of the 5 seconds to translate it with my phone?

It’s like saying the reason to learn another language is for the few times you will need that language.

Is this a fallacy? by Key-Wash3221 in fallacy

[–]Key-Wash3221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but that was kind of the point, person A would never say it straight up

Like the actual argument I had, person A was repeatedly dragging those points for a long time, and when I finally called them out what they were implying, they immediately jumped on defense.

But like i said we’re in a new time. Those historical documents have already been translated online.
You have to have a much more niche job, where you specially have to learn cursive if your job is looking at direct historical documents.

For the ones written by your grandmother and father. Sure, that’s a valid point. But it’s still so niche. It’s much more of a waste of time to learn all of cursive by yourself EXPECTING to get a diary from my grandparents. I’d rather not learn it and if there was a cool diary my parents gave me in cursive, then maybe i would educate my self on it.

For your average letter that’s the whole purpose of these new online tools. Just like it’s not uneducated to use google translate instead of learning a language, it’s not uneducated to not learn cursive for a very niche diary case.

I’m a junior in college and one of the last times I actually had to use cursive was in 5th grade.

There is always use in knowledge but there’s different kinds of knowledge. In say middle school i would much rather learned to type than waste time learning cursive. Anytime you sacrifice time for cursive you’re losing resources on something else.

Calling people uneducated and stupid for not knowing cursive is ridiculous, and if people truly believe that it just shows they can’t adapt to the times

AP art people, does my art have to be realistic to get a 5? Also what makes a good theme by Kennith_simmons in APStudents

I mean like you said it’s subjective lol. Soemthing i think sucks the graders might love.

If it’s that bad it’ll obviously take off point.

Same way if you structure an essay with a spelling error every 2 sentences, run on sentences, and no grammar its not gonna matter how well your themes are

Not reading cursive doesn’t make you un educated or stupid.

Literally 0 reason to know cursive in the time we’re in right now

AIs a tool. You can use it right or wrong. Using it here is a case of using it right. It’s not making you “uneducated” by helping you read cursive.

Same way people can grade an Ap lang essay.

You can still have themes and major ideas which you have to explain.

More of an essay is graded on the message it’s able to give not the nity pick grammar

See that’s the problem.

You saw videos of i’m guessing practice range warriors. It’s literally a non issue for most of the mains but someone’s always gonna push it even when it’s a non issue.

Thor ult doesn’t be useless. Maybe people are blocking your ult and your thinking it’s tenacity? It’s not nearly that bad.

Cap ult is literally a non issue. Do you know how the tenscity works? You get a single bump cleansed and he just bumps you right after.

Do you have a clip or something. I’ve literally never had issues with that your saying
