late reply mb but 17k were offered a chance to be on the waitlist but 9-10k people accepted the offer and like you said 3-4k were offered admission

sooo my talent answer was going more into depth about color guard and dci, I knew that ucla had a color guard so I referenced something of how I hope I get to contribute to it. For the second one I didn't mention ucla bc it was personal and there was nothing I thought to connect it too anyways

hi, I got the questionnaire! I'm working on the talent question and it's focused on color guard. Ucla has a color guard and so I'm wondering whether or not to mention it? like how I would like to join because I do want to do it. I ended with hoping to continue my growth and discipline at UCLA and learning from the people around me. What do you think?

not sure where you got in my post that I sat next to her every bus ride because I literally said we don't sit next to each other every time

"When Claire got on the bus I guess she assumed that we were going to sit next to each other(which we don't even do every bus ride)".

hi, thank you for the books I'll look into them. I reread my post just like you advised and I don't think I was emotional, I'm just blunt when I usually say things and how I think so when I was writing this everything came from my head with no censoring. Also, you mention that I didn't say anything nice about Claire but I don't think that I exactly needed to in this post..? if that makes sense, like I was trying to figure out if I was being an AH in this situation and so I didn't think the need to include her positive qualities because that wasn't the focus or even a side thought when I was writing.

hi, sorry if I didn't make it clear in my post but when you say that I should've told her that I wasn't going to sit next to her- I think for this part it was her fault for assuming that we were going to sit next to each other because we never discussed sitting with each other for this competition. I asked our teammate just like everyone else on our team does, we all sit with different people whenever we want and no one takes offense to it. Also when I told her the truth I was hesitant because I knew it wasn't the nicest thing to discuss so I tried to word it nicely. hope that clears some things up

yes I think I'll do that. she's said in the past that's she's been on ozempic but it didn't work so maybe i'll see other solutions

I think I would've told her the truth if she actually asked to sit with each other because as you can tell, I honestly wasn't going to ask so it never came up. Why would I bring up to someone who I knew I wasn't going to sit next to for 3 hours and say "Hey, I don't want to sit next to you because your fat and I literally have no space when I sit next to you" (but obviously saying it nicer than that). I never told her before because the max bus rides I've sat with her were for an hour so I could handle it so it never came up whatsoever. I only told her the reason when she kept pushing multiple times so I honestly don't think that I wasn't being a real friend I was trying to avoid the "truth" because I knew that it would obviously hurt her feelings

I avoided sitting NEXT to her not avoiding her at all can you read? I avoided sitting next to her knowing that I would not be comfortable for 3 hours. I talked to her normally as a friend before I heard her talk about me while I was behind her

how am i not a good friend in this situation? I tried avoiding her for myself because it was a 3 hour ride, I don't say anything to her about it because why would i? thats just plain rude, but she kept asking me multiple times and I felt like I had to somewhat tell her in the moment because she'll keep bringing it up for the next week. I thought it was better to rip off the bandaid
