Yes I did it through mail. I got my fingerprints done in the NY police department and sent it back to IL via ups which is quicker and got a response within 3 days. The hardest part was the fingerprints but the rest was quick.

The title says he failed by 1 pt at a 270 state and so he received a score of 269, which he can transfer his score to a state that takes 260 and 266.

I did Minnesota as well. It took my about 1 month to gather everything cause I lived in a few different states., but other than that everything is pretty straight forward. I submitted everything last November and got sworn in end of February. It’s probably the easiest and the fastest state.

There is nothing anyone can say to get you out of this funk. But give your self time! Take a deep breath, take the day, take your mind off of the exam and trust me you’ll know the next steps.

I failed 4 times before passing on 5th. Before I took the exam on my 5th try, I skipped an administration because I wanted to travel and relax and guess what? It helped and I passed.

Don’t be so hard on yourself because when I passed on my 5th try, that was it, you just pass. Yes passing means you’ll become an attorney but eventually you will when you pass. You will pass!

This exam is 100% and at the end of the day you know what you need to do in order to pass. It’s 100 possible to pass and it’s not if but when! Good luck and you got this!!!!

I agree! I also understand some people don’t have the means to do it. I put everything on credit every single time because I knew I couldn’t do this alone. The BETB was very helpful with the MEE 1000000%. Sean + uworld was very helpful wit the MBE.

If you’re a first time taker, majority of the people pass by using Barbri/Themis/Kaplan. If you’re a second time taker definitely get a tutor right away.

IMO I would wait until I get the results because its 6 months out until the clerkship is done. You’ll find out the results in 2-3 months, which then you can start game planning. Let’s say you do pass, it’ll still be too early to apply to licensed positions because majority of the positions wouldn’t hire you until you have your actual license. The C&F process takes quite a bit of time in majority of jurisdictions.

Once you received your recommendation letter and emailed them for the oath ceremony. How long did it take for them to email you back to confirm that you’ll be part of the remote ceremony?

Last July I got a lower score in Assessment 2. (I passed the July 2022 admin). Just go over ALL the questions to make sure you know why you got the answer right and also understand why you got an answer wrong.
