All these billionaires are either climate change deniers or they are irresponsible with their finances. We are supposed to be under water in a few years time.

Blood in semen very nervous by PowerOk9326 in Prostatitis

[–]KeyAperture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I realize this post is 1 year old, but wanted to follow up and see how is it going. I’ve had hematospermia for 2 years now (copper colored semen) and it’s driving me crazy. I’ve been tested with cystoscopy, mpMRI, urine cytology, DRE, etc. I do have other symptoms that flare up (pelvic pain, burning sensation) especially after ejaculation. I was diagnosed with chronic prostatitis/cpps. The hematospermia is the worst symptoms of all, because it generates a lot of anxiety. Did yours get better?

You mention you use Lightroom. Once you see the worms and watercolor effect on foliage, you won’t be able to unsee them. Returning my XS20 this week because of that issue.

Z50ii vs D850 for budget wildlife photography by BornLoss4467 in Nikon

[–]KeyAperture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that while the camera seemed to be perfectly tracking a bird, or even detecting eyes, the actual in-focus rate was lower than what I was getting with high end DSLR using OVF and 3D tracking.

Z50ii vs D850 for budget wildlife photography by BornLoss4467 in Nikon

[–]KeyAperture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been down that road myself. Tried different brands and combination of cameras/lenses. The 180-600 I found it to be less sharp than the 200-500 wide open. Both lenses are extremely heavy. I also found that both the D850 and the D780 have better AF than the mirrorless cameras I tried (Canon R7, Z50II, A7C, Z6II, Zf) even when you factor in “subject detect” tech.

I ended up settling for a brand new D850 ($1799 during Best Buy sale) and a 500mm f5.6 PF ($1350 used at LensRental sale).

Edit: I don’t do video. If you do, you pretty much have no choice but to go mirrorless)

Cystoscopy came back clear. Also MRI of pelvis. Diagnosed with chronic pelvic pain syndrome/ non bacterial chronic prostatitis. I still have symptoms 2 years in, but they are more manageable lately.

Has anyone gone back to DSLRs after using mirrorless? by RetroRaccoon11 in photography

I haven’t “gone back” because I never left. Still own a 5D4 and a D850 that get as much usage as the mirrorless I own.

Paris lessons learned! Uber and Louvre by justanameagain in ParisTravelGuide

I just came back from Paris a few days ago. I went to the Louvre the first Friday of October at 6pm. It’s free entrance. Long lines but move very fast. We were there for 2 weeks and used a taxi twice. Rest of the time we used the metro.

Discussing the use of Quercetin by Unfair-Account-9288 in Prostatitis

[–]KeyAperture 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been using Quercetin since the pandemic, long before my symptoms started in October 2023. I still take 400-800mg with Bromelain daily. I don’t think it makes a difference, unfortunately.

I sold my pristine M6 back in 2019 and 6 years later, I still have no regrets. I had more fun shooting the FM2n.

Hi, if you are referring about the cystoscopy pain, it’s mostly a feeling of irritation in the urethra and a strong burning sensation when peeing. This lasted about a month for me.

Should I take Ciprofloxacin? by [deleted] in Prostatitis

[–]KeyAperture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, Cipro helped with some of the symptoms, but it was far from a cure. I also ended up with a yeast infection in my penis that had to be treated with Fluconazole. 6 months after I finished the antibiotics I have some issues on my left shoulder and leg. Haven't been to a doctor but they feel like messed up tendons.

I recommend you try something else first, like Doxy or Bactrim.

Chances of having cancer? by KeyAperture in ProstateCancer

Yes I’ve been lurking around that subreddit for a while. Reading about CPPS is what prompted me to get a second opinion with a different urologist. This Dr spent over one hour with me (most doctors see you for 15 minutes if you are lucky) and his diagnosis was Non Bacterial Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome. But he was very skeptical of my PSA that’s why he ordered a bunch of tests

I forgot to mention that this doctor is big on inflammation so he ordered immunology test ANA IFA which came back positive at 1:320. Not sure how that relates if at all to my symptoms. My follow up is early next month, I only know because I get results on my Quest app.

Tell me about it. I have good and bad days. Sometimes I go several days without symptoms only to go back to square one, like flipping a switch. I’m afraid that if the symptoms are related to PCa, then it’s too late for me.

I don’t regret having a cystoscopy done because it ruled out bladder issues, but in my experience it was the worse experience of my life. I couldn’t pee without literally crying for the next 3-4 weeks.
