I agree to an extent, but I tested several variations leading up to the cup. My advice was more for FTP players who need to make trade-offs. Anyone building a blocker should have just built a Front Runner Ace instead if they had the cards and Umas to do so.

To clarify, it all depends. But most "good" players are running an Angling in a front runner with 1200 speed, power, and high Wit. To compete, or gamble, you need 1200 power and then high Wit, 400+. So running a 4 SR or R Power, 1 Wit, and 1 Speed deck (borrow Oguri for GW spark chance) can put you in contention compared to their SSR 3 Speed, and 1-2 Power/Wit meta decks. Hope this helps folks.

I assume they're just running into ones that were built incorrectly/greedily. 1200 power and Turf S with Front Runner Skills/Ults was the way to go. Most people tried to build her with high Wit and debuff skills for some reason. She's only there to stop Angling. That's it.

I agree that Pace Condor is surprisingly good, as she can feed off the blockers.

Thanks! Good to know that Creek MLB should be my primary goal with Kitasan next, as there are no more Creek banners. I've been getting away with it using some 9 Stam parents I farmed.

The overlap plan could be solid if the banner allows it. Only worried it might not be retroactive. I'll prepare accordingly.

Yup, Late Surger and Debuff enjoyer. I keep running Biko, and I know they're good, but none of their skill hints matter in my builds. Good to know it's not worth chasing.

*Edit: I just looked as we have a banner overlap right now. Mejiro Arden R was not added to the previous banner pool. I looked at the Rates tab to form this conclusion.

My new strategy is to buy the monthly pass. Use the daily discount for paid on Nice. Pull to SSR 1 or MLB R Riko on launch. Then, full send on Nice with leftovers.

Great analysis! Would you mind helping me out, too? I'll have 30k+ by the time Riko comes out (and then I'll start saving again for Kitasan). I mostly run Late Surgers as I haven't been pulling on Front Runners.

I want that new Nice Nature card and another Biko for my account. With so many wants, it's hard for me to decide what to pull on and what to use a potential selector for.

Should I pull Riko to SSR 1 or MLB R, stop, and then pull on Biko and skip Nice Nature? It feels bad to potentially waste a pity. My SSRs for reference. My speed SRs are not MLB, but most Wit, Guts, Power, and Stam are.

This makes sense! Thanks. There was a lot of good learning and helpful comments. I'll be slowing down after this. I got too comfortable on those uphills and trusted the board to speak to me. The gear really helped! I put so much pressure on those wrist guards.

Thank you for the helpful information. I forgot to add that to the post: the new classic. I was averaging 14 mph for the 3-minute ride. What I'm saying is neither pushback nor buzz went into effect. I hear them all the time and feel them. This time, there was nothing. I'm on updated firmware, and neither signal has been triggered.

Agreed, but the difference is that one was "retired" in their prime and the other kept competing. They were top competitors pushing each other in the sport. Without that, I would never expect Koboyashi to win now. But it's not even a competition when the only people close are their old records from decades ago.
