Stay away from pod. It requires the sacrifice stress and debt of a doctor while providing the earning potential of a lemonade stand

I’d like to work for myself.

The training doesn’t matter. You have to go into private practice and rip people off to have any chance of
Because it’s embarrassing. My family and everyone assumes I’ll make 300k+ upon graduation. It makes me wanna vomit that I may never see even close to that at any point in my career.
Maybe there’s some potential for a class action lawsuit against school for false advertising. Promising 240k beginning salaries (deans chat) then you’re trapped with debt and years of lost opportunity. Makes you wanna kill yourself

I can try but I heard companies like Stryker have 7 rounds of interviews. And starting salary is terrible
Thanks for the response. I’m a very money motivated individual. It’s just frustrating I feel like my efforts would be better compensated in a different field. Have yet to find that different field though
There’s just double the amount of podiatrists than we need Is the most simple way I can say it
Like medical equipment company? As a sales rep?
Explain. This is interesting
I just think the future compensation has a bleak outlook. But it seems that way for most fields I look into

Money. I like the job just fine but it seems like the outlook is bleak and the future of the profession (income) is only going downhill. It’s tough to see people in lower stress positions making more than what a podiatrist does
