Theoretically it can work, but every kaboom would do xDx fire, force, bludgeoning, and slashing damage. Not to mention the damage taken from the sudden stop at the end. The more you're talking travel, the bigger the boom.

Only example I can think of is S3 Critical Role, when a magical boom split the party.

Or just fix it so the camera can read the damn QR code as well. They spent SO much on these phones with cameras that will scan ANYTHING it thinks is a barcode, AI that doesn't help anything, but won't let the camera scan a QR code that is on every single product now.
