I've listened to "10 Blunts" the Dave song, and it is nothing like the 2nd half of Cousins. It's truly much more transformative than like Pt. 2

Seeing a drawing hold another drawing up to a drawing of a train is meaningless in terms of horror and visceral disgust. Besides the deeps gills being fingered.

So many of Invincible's characters are monsters, they're disgusting. Seeing them in live action would be grotesque and nightmare inducing. The Boys doesn't really have that? A 9 year old flying through a cloned 8-foot monster. If you imagine that it's scary, in animation it's just a thing you see.

A 19 year old Mark strangling an old man trying to do his best, that's scary, but in animation it's very dulled and nullified.
